Daughter of the Sea

Chapter 2

Present Day

Percy's P.O.V

It was a sunny day at Camp Half-Blood and everyone is going about their business. I was just sitting on the pier by the lake kicking my legs in the water. I heard someone coming up behind me and sat down right next to me. " Hey Percy! Why so down," said my wonderful girlfriend  Annabeth. She then gave me a kiss. 

" What? Oh yeah ummm today's the... you know... the anniversary of my... um little sister," I said while whispering the last part. 

" What exactly happend on that day?" 

" Well she was taken away from my mom an I. And... and it was all my fault!" I buried my head into my knees. 

" Percy it wasn't your fault okay. Don't tell yourself that, okay seaweed brain. Can I ask you a question, what was her name," Annabeth asked while trying to comfort her boyfriend.

" Alyssa. Alyssa Grace Jackson was her name."

" Thats a pretty name. What did she look like?"

" She had beautiful brown wavy hair,  with light brown natural highlights in it. She had warm hazel eyes and the cutest nose ever. You would never of guessed she was my sister. We look nothing alike," I said while chuckling quietly.

" She sounds very pretty," Annabeth said while smiling a sweet smile. It was quiet and all you can hear was the waves crashing on the sand. " I know a girl who has the same name as your sister and middle name as well, but not the same last name.  Although, the way you described your sister, looks nothing like the one that I know. I'm sorry. When I first met her she reminded me of you seaweed brain," she said. I smiled at the last part. I wonder if its possible that it could be her. I seriously doubt that though. " I don't think its possible Percy, I mean alot of people could have similar personalities. And I haven't seen her since you arrived at camp," she said. I love my girlfriend she knows me so well. I just smiled at her and hugged her by the side. We stayed like that until we heard someone say " Hey you guys!" We both turned around and saw Grover coming towards us. I got up from my spot and so did Annabeth. I gave Grover a bro hug and he hugged Annabeth too. " Hey Grover what's up," Annabeth asked while smiling. 

" Oh you know, nothing much. Hey! I have a great idea we should all go to the mess hall and eat, cause I'm hungry," Grover exclaimed. Annabeth giggled and I just chuckled. Maybe my day won't have to be so down. I'm glad I have a great friend and girlfriend. So we head over to the mess hall to have some lunch.

No Ones P.O.V

While Percy was talking to Annabeth about his sister, someone was eavesdropping on them. They were  hoping that Annabeth wouldn't spill their secret to Percy. It wasn't the right time for him to find out. They then just disappered from their hiding place and went to who know's where.

Annabeth's P.O.V

While I was talking to Percy I felt sad that I was keeping such important information from him. Although, I promised her I wouldn't tell him, she's like my best friend, like my sister. Also... I swore on the River Styx so, yeah I can't break this promise. I just hope she tells him soon, Percy's been down a lot latley.

Well thats a rap for this chapter. Hoped you like it. I know its very short but, I'll try to make the other ones longer if I can. Who do you think is this mysteries girl? Why as she been keeping a  secret from Percy? Why does Annabeth only know? Well you'll have to read to find out. Also I'll be adding more of the characters from the Prophecy of seven.
