Alyssa's P.O.V.

Percy and I were outside and I saw Annabeth waving at me, so I waved back. I turned my attentinon to Percy and he just smiled at his girlfriend. Just marry  her  I thought. I cleared my throat and his sea green eyes landed on me.

"So have you guys find Hazel, Frank, and Leo yet?" Percy was about to answer, when inturrpted by Piper screaming out Leo's name and jumping over board. I raised my eyebrows  and walked over to the side of the boat to see what the commotion was all about. I leaned over the side and saw four people floating in the water. Piper was giving Leo a big kiss on the cheek and I clenched my fist. I felt an arm on my shoulder to see Annabeth smiling at me.

"You okay," she asked. I nodded and slowly uncleanched my hand. I took a deep breath in and exhaled slowly. Their just friends. Nothing more, nothing less. I reminded myself. A couple minutes later the four of them were all dried, with the help of Jason and I. Everyone made their way below deck in the dinning hall, while Leo and I were still up deck. Leo was telling Festus were we need to go. So I slowly crept up behind him and screamed out,

"Boo!" He turend around and jumped so high that a kangroo would have been jelouse of him. I laughed so hard, that I had to hold my stomach because of the pain. Leo put his hand over his heart and leaned over to catch his breath.

"Geeze Alyssa! You scared me half to death," he exclaimed. I unclutched my stomach and smiled sheepishly up at him. I then tackled him into a hug and he stumbled back and awkwardly returned the favor, not knowing why I hugged him in the first place. I pulled back. "What was that for?" he asked while rubbing the back of his neck.

"I- before I went unconscious I saw you fall into the water... and I didn't know if you'd survived the fall. I-I was worried." Leo starred at me, then it was his turn to catch me off guard. He hugged me and kissed my forehead. I hugged him back tightly, and we stood like that for a good minute, then he pulled back.

"There's nothing to worry about now. I'm here and alive and so are you-" he grabbed my hand and entwined it with his. "-How about we go down to the dinning hall and taste those amazing brownies I brought." He gave me his well known smile. I nodded and he lead me down the stairs to meet with the others.

Leo and I entered through the door of the dinning hall. Leo chuckled and I just cracked a smile at what I was witnessing. Everyone had a brownie in their hand or either had all of the delicious pastry smothered across their face. "I'm guessing you guys liked the brownies," Leo said while walking towards the group of demigods, "Dude pass me one!" He told Jason. Jason reached his arm into the basket and tossed Leo the brownie and it landed right in his mouth.

"Oh!" All the boys yelled out. Leo licked his lips and joined the boys on patting Jason on the back and complimenting him on his aim. I looked at the girls and they just rolled their eyes. I stifled a laugh. I thought it was pretty cool. The boys were still talking and the girls amongst themselves. I sighed, it seemed so normal. Us here, just doing what teenager do, having a blast and making the most out of life. Although we weren't ordinary teenagers, we're demigods and normal is not in our vocabulary. I hated to break the moment up, but we had business to attend. I cleared my throat, but that didn't work. I did it once more, but still no reply. I sighed, then whistled an ear splitting whistle. The seven covered their ears and looked to see who made the noise, their eyes landed on me. I smirked. "What was that for?" Percy asked.

"You guys weren't listening so I took desperate measures." Everyone rubbed their ears. "I think we should hear the story of how we got these delicious brownies here," I said while pointing at the basket in the middle of the table, which was now empty. Wow! They don't leave some for me. How considerate.  I thought. Annabeth nodded.
