I blinked. Is this actually happening or am I going insane? "What?" I say, my voice hoarse.

Blaine grins at me. "You heard me," He backs away from me and grabs something from under the couch. "So, since I'm pretty sure we missed your birthday," My head whirls. Have I really? Am I actually fifteen now? "I may have left the building at four am to get you a gift." I'm unable to hold back a grin.

"That's sweet," I chuckle as he hands me a messily wrapped box with a bow slapped on top. He chuckles nervously and scratches at the back of his neck, "Sorry about the wrapping, hehe, I'm not very good at those kinds of things." I smile.

"It's kinda cute." I tease him and sit back down on the couch, him following.

"Open it." He nudges my arm. I pull the bow off and slowly rip the wrapping. Inside was a beautiful necklace with a matching bracelet. The necklace had a crescent moon on it, with black gems embedded into it. The chain itself was a glistening silver. The bracelet was also a silver chain, but it had black and purple gems embroidered into that twinkled when the light hit it at an angle. I smiled softly.

"Blaine, it's so beautiful. Thank you so much. " He gives me a wide smile.

"I'm glad you liked it," He motions his hand, "Turn around." I hold up my hair as he clasps the necklace. I toy with it around my neck. He quickly attaches the necklace. "But here's the cool part." He taps the middle gem on the bracelet, which was slightly larger than the others. I feel a weight in the palm of my hand and look down, startled. In my hand was a sleek dagger, the same coloured gems in the hilt of it. He then taps the moon on the necklace three times and I feel, once again, a weight, this time on my back. I turn around and find a quiver of arrows with different coloured jewels on them: red, blue, silver, and green. The bow itself was white, along with another black jewel embedded on it, slinged on my shoulder too. Blaine looks at my expression and chuckles, before tapping the bracelet and necklace again. "I had them charmed at this little shop; I was hoping we could work on your hand-to-hand combat and weaponry skills while we're stuck here."

"Sounds good to me."

"I'm tired." I whine as I take another swing at the moving dummy with my blade.

"It's been half an hour, Amulet." Blaine gives me a look of exasperation. I finally land a stab to the dummy's head and the hologram flickers away. I turn towards him. "I don't understand-" I duck as another dummy comes out of nowhere and quickly stab it. "-why we can't take a break." I finish.

He repeats himself, "It's been half an hour, Amulet." I tap my necklace and shoot a couple dummies in the arm or leg and groan. My aim wasn't very good. "You can have a break in another half hour."

We were in the living room, all the furniture pushed to the side and Blaine was using some sort of magic to make holograms so I could practice. I was generally a lazy person, so doing the same thing non-stop for half an hour can tire a girl out.
"Come on, Amulet!" Blaine groans when I missed a jab and was sent flying back. I give him a venomous glare.
"If you don't shut up, the next person I stab is you." I hiss as the hilt of my knife slams into a holograms head. He raises his hands in surrender, though he has an amused smile and a glint in his eye.

We continue this for a while, and my best shot with my bow was in the middle of a dummies chest. And no, I'm not talking about Blaine.

It was my turn to cook dinner, and in all honestly, I am a pretty bad cook. But I attempted, and somewhat succeeded. I made chicken alfredo, and I hid some mushrooms in it and told Blaine that it was chicken, since he hates mushrooms. (He said it was delicious!) I smirked to myself.

After dinner I said to Blaine, "What do we do here for entertainment?" He shrugged.

"We never really thought of entertainment while building it. It's a safe house, not an arcade." I groaned after that and laid on the couch.

"Amulet!" I rolled over. "Amulet!" Someone was shaking me. I reached out and slapped at the air. "Ow! Amulet, wake up!" I opened my eyes and saw Blaine holding his nose. "Shoot! Sorry!" I smiled sheepishly, and rubbed my eyes. He rolled his eyes, "Whatever. Listen, I got a letter just now from Kai." I raised an eyebrow.

"Really now?"

"Yup, and we're finally getting out of here."

I grinned. "Hallelujah. Does that mean that I can go home?"
He nods. "All of the Bunker has been fixed and Sam was told where you were, so he's not freaking out," He raises an eyebrow, "Well, not freaking out as much.. Anyways, take my hand." He extends his arm and I lace my fingers with his.

Right, well here's finally another chapter, now that I got the whole charger thing figured out. Um, school starts on the 8th, so two days from now so I'll try to post as much as possible. But for now short chapter, because thanks writers block.

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed, and yeah, *salutes* I hope your skin clears up and school doesn't suck, bye!
