Disclaimer: I be skipping the first Virtual arc and the Dungeon Dice Arc because it will follow the anime but Nicolas will be in it. Who was defeated by the Big Five so That Yumi and Seiko had a Bigger reason to collaborate together to merge Luster Soldier with Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon 

3rd person Pov

Things were okay for Nicolas and his friends after the whole going into cyberspace dealing with the Big Five trying to get rid of Seiko Kaiba (a/n: Female Seto Kaiba in this story) by trapping her in to the whole Duke Devlin calling Nicolas a cheater for defeating a great man like Pegasus but after Nicolas defeated Duke he had a change of heart. While heading to the game shop he ran into his vampire friend Salazar at a cafe.

"Sup Nicolas." said Salazar who was sitting at a table.

"Sup my dude how are you?" asked Nicolas taking a seat across from him.

"This and that been brushing up on some of my dueling skills." said Salazar before a waitress walked over and placed a strawberry sundae on the table and left.

"You dueling?" asked Nicolas.

"You act surprised my friend after ever since duelist Kingdom I decided to give dual monsters a try." said Salazar.

"I see nothing wrong with that oh by the way I want to say thanks for all your help dealing with those goons that tried to trap me and the others in cyberspace." said Nicolas.

"No worries my friend beside that one guy with the pointy hair who I think might be related to Triston made me laugh when he said "attention duelist I just wet myself" when I showed him my fangs." said Salazar making Nicolas laugh.

"My lord we should get going." said Ruin.

"I love to stay and chat some more Salazar but I'm in a hurry but it was good seeing you again." said Nicolas.

"Likewise." replied Salazar before getting back to his frozen dessert.

Nicolas Pov

It was good seeing Salazar after what happened a few days ago. Salazar was a good friend ever since we meet on the island he had our back. Anyway, it took me a few minutes to get to the game Shop where I saw Yumi's (a/n: Female Yugi in this fanfiction) grandpa sweeping outside.

"Good morning, Mr Muto!" I said

"Ah, Nicolas. Good morning." said Mr Muto

"How are you feeling today?" I asked.

"I feel great thank you for asking. Yumi's upstairs getting ready. I call her for you. Would you like something to drink?" asked Mr Muto.

"No thanks I'm good." I replied.

"Yumi! Nicolas is here." said Mr Muto

"I be right there, grandpa." said Yumi from inside the shop.

"You know I want to thank you for being a friend and being there for my granddaughter." said Mr Muto.

"Your welcome sir. I'm just glad I can help anyway I can." I said

"That's great to hear." said Mr Muto before the door to the shop opened and out walked Yumi walked out of the shop.

"Sorry for the wait." said Yumi.

"All good. You were probably talking with the spirit of the Millennium Puzzle or something." I said

"Well, she seems worried about the future, I think. She said something about our destiny being unclear." said Yumi

"Well, whatever the case I help." I said
