she was captivated
stuck in her daydream
and no one could pull her out
she spun around her room
as sweet sad songs blasted at full volume
she was absorbed
you can't interrupt her now
she spun around in circles
around and around
but her eyes were shut
so she couldn't grow dizzy
all she saw was darkness
she could feel her feet moving around with her
and the air rushing past
and the song,
blaring from her phone
vibrating in her ears
feeling it in her soul.
as the beat became faster
so did she
and there was her sister
calling out her name
but could she hear her?
would she hear her?
of course not.
her heart and soul was in the song
nothing could break her
from this strong connection
of her and music.
she opened her eyes
just a fraction
it was just a blur
and the beat was about to drop
she heard her sister call out her name
it was like a dream
her voice echoed around her like a song
but it didn't disturb her
she finally released
her feet slid beneath her
she let go and
let the dizziness take over
she fell with her eyes
rolling to the ceiling
dizziness fogging her brain
the song echoing to an end
her eyes were closed
she didn't realise
her head collided
with the edge of her bed
hitting it hard as a bullet
she fell to the ground
everything a blur
she was falling sideways
that's what dizziness does
she wasn't really
but it felt like she was
her sister screaming out her name now
she rolled onto her side
but it still felt like she was falling
into a deep black hole
because her eyes were slowly closing
and everything was black
but she felt there was nothing beneath her
and she was falling
falling into nothingness
dizziness is so strong
you need to be careful
her sister watched her faint
roll across the floor
with her eyes fluttering shut
she screams out her name
her eyes scrunched up
but she can't hear her
just a faint whisper
as everything turns into nothing.
