voices echoed in her head
she locked herself away
enveloped by the demons
swimming in her head
she flooded her head with thoughts
in attempt to drown them
but it's no use
because they know how to swim
crimson stained her duvet
tears soaked her swollen cheeks
thoughts clouded her insane mind
she was lost inside her own head
and every time she tried to escape
the demons would snatch her back
pull her beneath the surface
and try and drown her instead.
