remiel was never adopted by seraphina, her parents were never ousted, and remiel meets dick while studying at gotham university.
when...
it's not betrayal that starts the story, it's just passion and attraction. they're keeping secrets from each other: she doesn't know he's nightwing. he doesn't know she's heir to the yuannan mountain sect. but in the end, it doesn't matter. they'll always find their way back to each other.
"the collapsing limit, it feels so thrilling dig deep into me it carried me away from the moment i first saw you in a mysterious light of color like you've been waiting, now i'm burning shine dazzlingly" - blue flame, le sserafim

odile/yu lan's au is already up on her story, and i thought i would do remiel's next! the two are linked, but the events of this au happen before that of odile's. this is my "no one dies" au, so remiel's parents never died, and she grew up with the yuannan sect instead of with seraphina! dick and remiel meet under completely different circumstances... so what happens then?
WARNING: this au is a bit more suggestive than the rest of the story! guys it literally starts with a one night stand go figure.

IT STARTED WITH a single night. A party. A bit too much alcohol in her system, even though Remiel Shan was someone who rarely lost her own inhibitions. But for one night, she told herself, she'd go crazy.
And of course, somehow, it ends with a stranger in her bed, her brain fuzzy and memories of the previous night in shatters.
Sure, Remiel was in her second year of college and it wasn't the first time she'd gotten tipsy, but never had things ended like this. If her father was here, he'd have a fit. Her mother would thank the gods that she was safe and sound, and then laugh her ass off about her current situation.
But at least her standards remained high even when drunk. Because the man next to her was handsome to the max. Perfect nose, sharp chin, the kind of boyish charm she tended to go far. And if she recalled correctly, those eyes had been a brilliant shade of blue. And his body wasn't the type those gym-addicted guys touted around, but from signs of genuine exercise. The kind guys back at the sect would have from years of martial arts training.
