Chapter 11

"EMILY!" I screeched and ran towards the figure in a black hoodie holding a knife. I finally caught up to the figure and I tackled them down. It was a guy. I could tell easily this time because the figure was a male body.

I jumped on him and took his hood off. All I saw was a mask. A black mask with white chalk writing on it. It read. "I told you." I just sat there confused and I shook my head. I tried to take the mask off of him but he slapped me and ran away.

I felt a few tears fall down my face. I heard Cameron and Hanna run over to me. "He's gone. And it's all my fault." I sobbed. "No, no it's really not. You did everything you could've done." Hanna said wrapping me in her arms. "She's gone." I whispered to Hanna. "It'll be okay..." She whispered back. I nodded and we got up and went inside. "Angie!" I called and ran up to her. She rolled her eyes "What do you want." She spat. "Are you okay?" I asked looking her up and down. "God Addison! You can't just not talk to me and then try to be friends with me again." She said in a disgusted tone. "Angie I tried to ca-" I started. She rolled her eyes and walked away. The bell rang and I went to my first class with Jack, Nash, Cameron. Also Hanna because she transferred into our class.

"Hey Jack I haven't seen you in forever." I said running up to him and giving him a big hug. "I miss you." He said giving me a kiss on my forehead. I slightly blushed and walked to my seat after getting a death glare from Nash.

I don't know what's up with him. He been so rude to me since me and Cameron started dating. The teacher started blabbing on about I don't even know what but me and Cameron just kept talking and laughing about nothing.

*skips school*
"Do you guys wanna watch a movie tonight?" Cameron asked me and Hanna in his car. "Sure!" I said with excitement. Hanna nodded in agreement. When we got to my house I went into my room and changed into my black sweat pants and my red t shirt. I grabbed Hanna a pair of my gray sweat pants and my pink t-shirt.
"You wanna watch scary movie 5?" I asked smirking at Hanna and Cameron. They nodded and laughed. Cameron and I laid together on one couch and Hanna was on the floor with a bowl of popcorn in some of my pajamas on the air mattress.

When the movie was over I wrapped my arms around Cameron's waist and he wrapped his arms around my neck. He put his chin on my head I smiled on drifted off to sleep.

I'm about to time jump a lot right now so that they are at high school graduation.

*7 months later*
It's been seven months and not that much has changed. Cameron and I are still together. We're not as happy as we used to be but I don't know. I still have feelings for Jack. And Cameron's so called cousin Sophie isn't his cousin. He has feelings for her and I know it.

"Addison Grier." My principal called and smiled at me I smiled back at him and got my diploma. At the end we threw all of our caps in the air cause my school is cheesy.

"Hey Addison!" I heard someone call behind me. "Jack!" I said running up and jumping in his arms. "Look I need to tell you something." He said looking at his hands. "Okay." I said smiling. "Here it goes.... I like you. No I don't like you I love you. I've always loved you. But more than a friend. Ever since we met in 3rd grade. I know you're with Cameron but I just want you to know that I-" I cut him off and kissed him. I felt a spark that I haven't felt in a long time I smiled into the kiss and pulled away. I hugged him and over his shoulder I saw Cameron making out with Sophie. I honestly don't care. I'd rather be with Jack. Jack makes me happy.

"Cameron!" I shouted. He looked Over at me. "We're done." I said waving at him. Everyone ooooo Cameron pushed passed everyone and left. "Addison!" I heard Hanna shout. "Hanna!" I said as my eyes lit up. I ran over to her and hugged her. "What happened with you and Cameron?" She asked confused. "We're done." I said looking down. "Sorry." She said hugging me. "I broke up with him. We both are looking for different people so." I said shrugging. She nodded.

I took pictures with a bunch of people and me and Hanna went to Hanna's house to get ready for a the dinner tonight. I got a text when we got to Hanna's house.

You thought I was gone. Think again.

I showed Hanna the text and she rolled her eyes. "I'm so sick of this." I said getting out of the car. "Touché Addison...... Touché....."
