Chapter 16

I woke up under the coffee table. My eyes widened once I saw where I was. I crawled out and got up. I walked into the kitchen and saw my mom,sister, and brothers and Hanna and Joey and Jack. Okay I'm done now.

"Good morning honey." My mom said hugging me. "Morning." I said rubbing my eyes. "Not to be rude but why are you guys here." I said sitting on a stool like everyone else. "Well Jack invited us. He's still my friend too." Nash said playfully pushing me causing me to almost fall. I glared at him and he looked down and laughed. "We are also here because we haven't seen the house yet." My mom said smiling.

California is a wonderful place. All of my friends and family have moved here over the past two years. We used to live in Pennsylvania but obviously we don't now.

I nodded and showed them around the house. After we all went back into the kitchen and talked about random things. "God you're so big now sky." I said grinning. "I know." She said blushing. I laughed to my self. A little while later my family left and so did Hanna and Joey.

"Hey babe I'm gonna go to the store." Jack said kissing my forehead. "Okay bye." I said giving him a kiss. About ten minutes after he left I heard a knock on the door. I opened it. I saw Cameron looking at me with his eyes filled with anger. I tried to close the door but he pushed it back open. He grabbed my neck and pushed me against the wall.

"Cameron. Stop! I can't.... Breathe!" I said trying to break out of his grip. "You left me. Now I'm getting you back. " he said letting go of my neck and throwing me to the floor. "Why Cameron? Why me? You have Sophie!" I screamed in his face. He grabbed my wrists causing me to kick his shin. He let go of my wrists and I ran upstairs. I ran into my room and I heard him banging on the door. "OPEN IT NOW!" He screamed. "LEAVE ME ALONE!" I screamed back. He busted the door down and ran to me and grabbed my wrists. Again. "I love you." He screamed in my ear. "I hate you!" I screamed back. He threw me into the bedside table and I hit my back really hard. I started to cry. "Don't cry!" Cameron said. Then he did something I thought he'd never do to me.

I felt his fist hit my jaw. He punched me. I looked him in the eyes even though I could barely see through the tears. "I'm home babe! Oh and Taylor's here too!" I heard Jack yell. Cameron ran over to me and tried to put his hand over my mouth but I screeched before he could. I heard Jack run up the stairs. He busted open the door. He looked at Cameron with anger and punched him straight in the nose.

Cameron fell to the floor. Taylor walked in with a shocked expression. He shrugged and lifted Cameron over his shoulder. Jack ran to my side as I sat crying on the floor. "What did.... Oh my god your mouth is bleeding!" He said running out of the room and coming back with an ice pack and a wet cloth. "Did he...punch you?" He asked looking in my eyes. I nodded and sniffled.

*20 minutes later*
I had stopped crying a while ago and my mouth was still bleeding a little bit. "Stop." I said pushing Jack away from me. "Let me see." He said. I held my phone up so he couldn't see. Taylor grabbed my phone. "Hey!" I said reaching for it. He looked at me and nodded. It was about a surprise party for Jack. His birthday is September 10. And today is August 18th so that he won't expect it. "Well....let me see it." Jack said raising an eyebrow at Taylor. Then my phone died. "Oh well." Taylor shrugged handing me the phone. Jack pouted and laid his head on my shoulder. I kissed his head and laid my head on his. "Aww...." Taylor said tilting his head. I chuckled to myself so did Jack.

Then I got a text. That changed everything.
