Jack and I sat on the bench for at least 10 minutes before he spoke.
"Fluorescent, I'm sorry about all of this. It was my fault." He said looking at our intertwined fingers.
"It's okay, we will work this out. But you have to figure out what to do about Lily."
He sighed and gave me a huge bear hug.
We started to walk home. The air was cold, but I liked it.
When we reached the front step I took a deep breath.
I opened the door. We were greeted by Lily.
She was in the doorway in tears.
She starred at us and tears ran down her cheek.
"Y-You... What the f-fuck. J-Jack, what are you doing w-with her?" Lily said in between tears.
"Lily, I didn't want you to find out this way." I said walking towards her.
"You bitch." She said in disgust. She looked over to Jack and cried even more.
"Get the fuck out of my house, Jack!" She screamed.
She pushed him back and slammed the door.
"Lily, I'm so sorr-"
"Shut the hell up, whore! What's wrong with you?!"
I stood in shock as she screamed at me.
"The first fucking day he came over, you got naked with him!"
"Wait what? How did you know?" I said In confusion.
"Your shirt is on the floor." She said blankly.
"Dads right... He only wanted you because he would get paid to take care of you. No wonder he hates you."

She ran up the stairs and slammed her bedroom door shut.
My face went even paler than it already was.
"Is that really the only reason my dad took me in?" I said to myself.
I could hear Lily's muffled sobs from up stairs. I really fucked up this time.
I walked up the stairs and into my room.
Before entering I pressed my ear against Lily bedroom door.
Lily spoke in between sobs, "God, I wish she would just fucking die!"
I froze.
She says this a lot, but this time it stung.
I sighed and went into my room. I laid on my bed and put my headphones in.

Well you don't know what's like,

To wake up in middle of the night,

Scaring the thought of kissing Razors.

This blood evacuation,

Is telling me to cave in.

So just stay away,

From my friends.

I sang along quietly to Pierce The Veil. My eyes filled with tears as thoughts of Lily and Jack leaked into my mind.
"What the hell am I gonna do?" I muttered.
Bye now it was already 3:12 am, so I didn't bother going to sleep.
The silence of my room was very uncomfortable.
It was like something was holding my ears shut.
The air seemed extremely heavy. I couldn't even feel or hear my heartbeat.
The pitch blackness of my room surrounded me making me feel so alone.
I couldn't even hear my own breath.
I closed my eyes but it seemed lighter with my eyes shut.
I sat in complete darkness and silence for what felt like forever.
My eyes just starring straight in front of me.
I felt so empty.

Buzz!
I jumped up in surprise, as the only sound I had heard for 2 hours startled me.
I reached for my phone and saw a text from Jack.

J: Hey, sorry about tonight. I wish we could have told Lily about us instead of her finding out. Anyways I'll see you at school! <3 xoxo.

I sighed and set my phone down, not bothering to text him back.
To avoid the uncomfortable silence, I put I headphones on and listened to music.

The sound of dishes being moved around, signaled me that it was time to get ready for school.
I got dressed and brushed my teeth. My hair was a mess, so I straightened it a little.
I headed down stairs and saw my mom cooking.
I grabbed a glass and filled it with orange juice.
"Hungry?" She said. Lifting the pan up.
I shook my head and continued drinking.
She sighed sat down. I grabbed my backpack and walked to the door.
"Honey, be safe. A-and try to eat something?"
I turned around and said," Sure thing ma."

Time skip to middle of school day.

The bell rang for lunch. Alice and I walked to the cafeteria.
I sat down.
"You not gonna get anything?" Alice said looking kinda sad.
"I-I'm not hungry." I say looking down.
She walks over to me and squats down next to me.
"Fluor, you need to eat. I've seen how skinny you are and I've seen how you've been avoiding food. Please, eat, for me?"
I hesitate, but nod in agreement.
She smiles and holds my hand.

After we got our food, we sat at a table with a bunch of Alice's friends.
A few minutes after talking about how creepy the English teacher is, I feel a pair of hands snake around my waist.
I jump a little a see that it's just Jack.
I smile and scoot over causing him to sit next to me.
He places and arm around my shoulder and says,"Whats this pretty little lady up to this Friday?"
I feel myself blushing.
"Nothing really, probably cleaning the house." I say taking a bite of my hamburger.
"Welllllllllll, you should ditch the chores and come to a party with me."
I smile and nod.

Times skip to the end of the day.

As I walk home, and see flyers stapled onto trees saying,
"Epic Party! Friday night!!
1216 PineWood Lane #45."
It was probably the party that Jack was talking about.
I kept walking until my house came into view.
I was hoping that Lily wasn't already home. I walked through the door and the smell of strong perfume hit my nose.
Damnit. Lily was home.
I quietly ran up the stairs into my room.
I was safe. I sat at my desk and finished most of my homework, before I got exhausted.
My eyelids became heavy and I drifted to sleep.
