A/n: I'm back again. I know, it's been months and I'm sorry for that, but I was more busy than I thought I'd be. And school is really stressful for me this year with tons of homework. I will keep this story going though, I promise. Just expect veeeery slow updates :,)

Y/n's POV:

September came fast and it was finally time for me to go to school. Don't get me wrong, life at the tower was amazing and I had a family now and all of that, but even the chaos got predictable sometimes.

So here I was, on a Sunday, the day before I'd officially go to school again, with Peter this time, sitting on my bed.

I was looking forward to it, really, but I felt a bit uncertain. Everyone in my grade would be two years older than me.

I was so lost in thought, I didn't even notice the knock on my door. And when I didn't reply, it opened and Wanda peeked inside.

"Hey sweetie. You alright?" She said softly, nonetheless startling me.

"Oh, sorry, yeah. Just—in thought"

She stepped inside and carefully closed the door behind her. "Is it about school tomorrow?"

Wow, she was so good at figuring people out.
"You didn't read my mind, did you? But yeah, it's about school"

"I'd never do that without your consent, you know that, right? So, having second thoughts? Any worries?"
She settled down next to me on my bed.

"I guess. I mean, they're all older than me and what if I won't make any friends and-"
My mind was spiraling.

"Hey, hey" she softly interrupted me "It's okay. You're okay" her hands found my shoulders, grounding.

I could see her lips moving — she was still talking, but it never quite reached me. She was probably trying to reassure me that I'd find friends and that I already have Peter and all, but I couldn't help my worries.

Of course, she noticed, and without saying another word, she pulled me in a hug.

We stayed like that for a while. She began humming softly, swaying us slightly.

At some point, I broke the silence.

"Wanda?"

She hummed, pulling back slightly.

"You know, if Nat and you ever decided to have kids, you'd be wonderful parents"

I wasn't sure where the change of topic came from. She just always seemed to know how to calm me down.

She tilted her head "Why do you think so, sweetheart?"

"I mean, you already do this naturally, the caring part and if Yelena weren't my sister and Nat therefore somehow too, I-"

I trail off. What was I saying? I did want some kind of parents that were actually alive, yeah, but I did have a family now, Yelena, the others...
Why would I ask for more?
Yelena was my sister, Nat was Yelena's adoptive sister and as a cause of that, I kinda considered her my sister too.

Truth was, though, that she acted the most maternal towards me than anyone else ever had. And considering Yelena was already sixteen years older than me and Nat even older than that...
