I woke up on Thursday morning. Phil had texted me. I checked it, but didn't reply, as I was ignoring him.
'Joe said be there around 12 ish.'
I got up and got dressed as I had a shower yesterday. I heard phil turn the tap on and get in. I straightened my hair and looked at the time. 11:35.
I picked up my phone and jacket and left. I'd tell joe he went to the shop or something.

I looked at the time and quickly got dressed and dried my hair. I ran outside an got into a taxi. if they asked why. I was late/didn't come with Dan, I'll make something up. I'll say I went to the shop but they didn't have what I needed. I can't tell them the truth, can I?
