Trying to be a good daughter-

"Mackenzie, get your ass out of bed before my foot become a chair! Do you understand!" My dad yelled from downstairs.

"Yes Father. I'm awake" I yelled back.

"Hurry up brat" I got out of bed and went to take a shower.

I hurried up and shaved my legs.

Once I dried myself off and towel dried my hair, I went to get clothes.

I picked out, red skinny jeans with rips on the thighs, and a white off the shoulder sweater.

I brushed my hair and parted it.
I went to my twin sisters room to wake them up.

"Nina, Gina, wake up. Get ready. Your outfits are on the chair." They rubbed their eyes.

But quickly got up. They know if they procrastinate they will get hurt. My dad is an abusive parent. He takes all of his anger, from the pack on us.

My mom doesn't do anything, she knows shed get beat too if she speaks up.

I helped the girls get dressed. They both wore a long sleeved shirt with a button up over it.

Gina, wore a black shirt under her button up. Nina wore a white shirt.
They both wore skinny jeans and flats with their outfits.

I combed their hair and pulled it into a neat bun.
"Brush your teeth. Hurry up. I'll get you stuff" they ran to the bathroom.

I got their bookbags and their notebooks and stuff together.
I grabbed my phone, wallet, keys and bookbag from my room.

The girls stood by my side as we walked downstairs.
"Ah, finally. Get out before you're late" my father screamed at us. I threw on my white flats and hurried out the door with the girls in front of me.

"Buckle." I got in the drivers seat and locked the doors.

I backed out and headed for school.

"Nina, Gina. Be good" I gave them both a kiss and handed them their book bags. The highschool was a few buildings over so I just walked.

I grabbed my bookbag, and the books that couldn't fit in it and started walking.

"Mackenzie, wait up" I looked behind me and my best friend was chasing me.

She stuck her tongue out at me.
Her name was Kalleen.
She was so pretty. She had long golden hair, with bright silver eyes.

"How's the home life? Any better" Kalleen asked.

"Not as many beatings. But they are still there. He is just so angry all of the time. Its no better here. I'm so not ready to meet my mate when I turn 17." I ran my hand through my hair.

"I'm sorry sweets. What about Nina and Gina" I sihed.

"I've taken a beating or two from them. But he is so parsistant. And won't stop. I've tried to tell him they are only 6 but he doesn't seem to care" I opened the door to our first class.

"I'm sorry" we sat down in our regular seats.

We aren't nerds, or populars. I make the class laugh, by smart mouthing the teacher and being all sorts of sarcastic, while Kalleen, will take notes and help me out.

The teachers don't like me, so I treat them how they treat me, simple.

Mr. Frank walked I'm, once he saw me he rolled his eyes.
