Nina was trying to talk to me, but I'm going her the silent treatment.
We pulled up to the hospital and walked to the doctor's office.
"Ah, Mackenzie. We need a blood sample, the results should only take around ten to fifteen minutes. There was a little thing in my other stat, and I wanna make sure it is right, before I give you the answer" I nodded and sat down
He grabbed a needle and a tube. He drew my blood and gave me a band aid to stop the bleeding since the red wolf is stabalized
"You OK" josh asked. I nodded and looked at my shoes.
He sighed and sat back in his chair.
I closed my eyes and just sat there.

"I'm sorry to inform you, but the girl, Nevaeh, will have down syndrome." The doctor showed us both of the stats he had.
There was a little bump in the paper.
I got up and walked out.
I took some deep breaths. My little girl will be treated and taught different from other kids.
Nevaeh, will be looked at like a disease. And teased. Gina has dyslexia but it isn't bad, she gets confused that's pretty much it.
Josh came out and looked down both of the hallways before he spotted me.
"You OK" I nodded.
"Yea, just that our little girl is going to be different, and teased, and taught, treated, different from the other kids. She is going to be looked at funny." I closed my eyes and leaned against the wall.
"You don't know that" josh walked over to me.
"It'll be a miracle if it doesn't happen. Down syndrome. She has down syndrome, and she isn't born yet. Great, just great" I started to pace again
"I can barely keep up with Gina, and she is just dyslexic, not that it isn't bad, but down syndrome. How, why," I stopped my self and took a deep breath.
"I wanna leave, I wanna go home" I walked back to the room to get the girls.
"Thanks doc" I walked out.

Two months later.
We were in the hospital. I was in labor, but only 7 centimeters. The contractions suck, but not horrible.
Josh is next to me freaking out, talking about the babies, and how's he's sk excited.
The doctor and nurse come in to see where I'm dialated at.
"Alright. Time to push" I started to push.
"Come on" the doctor said. "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine ten, relax"
I take a few breaths. I push again.
"I see a head, now shoulders. One more big push and you'll have one of the babies" I gave one more bug push, with all my might.
"Its a girl" the nurse goes and wipes her off. I'm too tired to push. But I do it anyway.

After what seemed like hours,
Ryder finally came out. I drifted to sleep apparently beacsue when I woke up it was the next day.
"Morning." Josh said. He had two bundles in his hands.
He set Nevaeh in my arms. My heart broke. You could tell she was different, but she is my different. I love the way she is.
"Wanna see our baby boy" josh asked. I nodded.
He set Ryder into my other arm. He was so cute.
I smiled as a single tear rolled down my cheek. Josh stood beside me with a proud smile on his face.
