'Okay. Breathe.' Harry instructs me as i hold his hand even tighter. We're both sitting on our seats fully secured with belts and handles and everything and as a bonus security i have my boyfrien- fiancé, next to me. I don't have a fear of heights but the built and speed of this 'Mighty Rollercoaster' is thrilling. Its going to be fun, no doubt, but i still need to get my guts together. The ride starts moving. Oh, boy.
After fifteen minutes, both Harry and I unbuckle ourselves and walk downward the aisle of the ride. We're both laughing like crazy as if we've just done drugs. 'This was hell fun!' I yell in his ear as we're walking and we're both having a serious migraine because this ride was just so happening. All along i had one of my hands on Harry's arm and the other on the side handle of my seat, we weren't talking-hell, we weren't even breathing. All we were doing was screaming like crazy lunatics and our vision was only a blur of a lot of damn things like the sky, trees and other stuff too. It was massive.
'I need water.' Harry says, panting. We both stop by near a small tuck shop and get ourselves water and some chips. As we munch along, i suggest that both of us sit by on an empty bench that we could see from here at the far corner. We both march toward it. Its a normal bench but it surrounds a huge dancing fountain infront of us. There are multicolored lights in the water which make it look attractive. We both sit down and talk about random stuff.
'So, when do you think is the perfect age for a woman to marry?' I ask Harry as i munch onto some chips.
'If it were for you being my wife, I'd definitely say now.' He giggles. I hit his arm playfully. 'Im serious Harry.' I scold him.
'Um twenty two i think?' He says.
'Yeah same.' I reply.
He digs in his hand in the packet and pulls out some chips to plop in his mouth.
'Would you be able to marry me?' I ask him, my tone suddenly changing to be serious.
'I've already proposed to you, genuis.'
I roll my eyes. 'Tell.' I command.
'Yeah of course.' He says so confidently that it really sparks in me.
'Considering the fact that i am unstable. Financially, mentally and family wise as well. Because mum is aging and she's definitely going to be retired soon meaning i'd have to take the responsibility. You know Ben's education, household running expenses. Plus Karen's pregnancy.'Harry frowns a little at the mention of Karen. I mean, even though Harry is 100% sure that he is not the father, still there can be a possibility.
Stop having second thoughts about your financé.
Yeah.
'Listen, babe. I love you for who you are. I have never let things and resources and money ever come in between my personality and my definition. Besides, you always have my back. I'll fund Ben's education and you can work even after marriage to support your family. Everything will be fine, yeah?' He asks. I smile in reassurance.
This way we talk for almost about fifty minutes until the sun starts to set. The red shade in the sky marking the horizon is such a beautiful scene to watch. The melodious singing and flying of birds in such a fine manner. The peaceful sound of water dancing infront of me. Life is beautiful, no matter what you say.
'Its getting chilly.' I say rubbing my arms. Harry instantly puts his jacket around me. How cute.
'That is so cliché. Like a stupid old romantic movie.' I comment.
'Be thankful for what you have.' He remarks and kisses my forehead. I definitely am thankful to whats mine and living. We start picking up our things from the bench and start moving outside. The sun has peacefully set and the night gloom is gradually taking its place.'So, whats next?' I ask him as we both sit in the backseat of the car.
'I'm hungry so I'm guessing hotel dinner? I read they're serving thai food for dinner tonight.' He replies.
'Wow. Really? Thai is my favourite!' I chirp. After a good drive we both reach our hotel and as soon as we enter inside our room, Harry jumps on the bed straightening his back.
