You breathe in and out nervously as you looked at your left hand. You sat on the comfortable chair that your bridesmaids gave to you on this special day. This beautiful weather and beautiful dress, reminds you that it's your wedding day.

Today it's the day, no going back now.

Motivating yourself to embrace the day that will change your life for the good.. again. The first time was with George, you waited for him at the alter, but he never showed up. The guys went to talk to him for you, but he would walk away from them. Ever since that day, you never thought you would be in another white wedding dress.

I hope he got the invitation.. may be seeing him again would be better for you, you told Mark and he allowed it, but that didn't stop him from being upset.

"Are you ready (y/n)?" A soft voice from your mother in law. "Oh my- you look so beautiful." Taking your hands into hers, she started to cry at her beautiful daughter in law. "You'll be a great wife to Mark."

"Thank you." You smiled at her compliment, but deep inside, you barely loved him. Your husband is the person who makes you happy, but you don't know why you don't feel love towards him. "I'll be out there, just wait." Faking a smile. She walked out and you're left alone again.

Let's get this over with.

Walking out of the room and heading towards the end of alter with your arms around your father's. You wipe your sweaty hands on your expensive dress.

"Nervous?" He smiled and you nodded in response, but that wasn't the case. 'Here Comes The Bride' started to play and both of you started to walk.

You scan the room, looking for a certain someone, but you only saw his friends and their girlfriends. Jordan gave you a thumbs up and the rest of them gave you an encouraging smile, even some of them shed tears.

You got closer to your future husband and your dad handed you off. You stood in front of the man you have to love. His suit was clean and crisp, hair styled neatly, and a smile that just as white as Jack Frosts.

"We are gathered here today of the joining of (y/n) (l/n) and Mark Williamson." The preacher began, "If there is any objection to the pairing, please stand now and forever hold peace." You waited for someone to say something, but no one did.

"Do you Mark, take (y/n), as your lawfully wedded wife, to care in sickness and health, rich and poor, and till death do you part?"

He smiled, "I do."

"Do you (y/n), take Mark as your lawfully wedded husband, to care in sickness and health, rich and poor, and till death do you part?" You made a quick glance at the door and back to Mark. You took a deep breath in and said your answer.

"I do."

His smile was wider and you couldn't help, but face the fact that George didn't come. If he did still love you, he would've stopped it and taken you away... no, it's just a fantasy that couldn't be real.

"The power invested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride." He kissed you and you kissed back. Everyone cheered and the guys were whistling and you felt a little happier like you're ready for this life.

*later that evening

"Hey (y/n)," you turned to see Jordan there. "Um, George wanted me to give this to you just before the party." He handed you a crumpled up envelope with the words 'For her' on it.

"Oh, thanks. I'm gonna be outside if you need to find me." You smiled at him and you went outside away from the party for some quiet time. You opened it and pulled out a letter.

"(Y/n), you made my life complete with you in it, the word itself doesn't show how you've made me change. Being with you every day was a new beginning of our adventure. Your smile is forever engraved in my mind and your eyes reflected on my own. Whenever you're happy, my world gets brighter and every bad thing vanishes. You helped me see everything in a new way, to believe everything is not as bad as it seems.

Now, it feels there will always be bad because I won't be there with you to see it. I feel like total shit for being unfaithful to you, I don't even know what to feel. My love for you was disappearing, I felt horrible about it and drank away the feeling, endlessly being in bed with other women.

I wish you and your new husband the best, for I didn't give it to you. I fell out of it and constantly been unfaithful to you while I went on tour. I regret doing those things, but I know you deserve someone else who is better than me. I wrote this letter to let you understand that I, George Ragan will forever love you until I do death."

Tears began to weld up in your eyes. You looked over and over the letter and you realized that it's his wedding vows for you. So many emotions weld up in you and you now know why he left you...

And he still loves you...
