Three weeks later...
Harmony
Aubrey's been really "busy" with work lately so he's rarely at home. But I wasn't complaining; finally in a quiet home for once. But Arabella, Tiffany and I finally landed in LA for Halloween weekend. I was excited to see everyone and really get a chance to enjoy myself, seeing as how I've been stressing about work, Aubrey and my grandma. She's been in the hospital for the past few days when my grandpa discovered her unconscious in their bedroom. But I'm going to visit her in Athens as soon as I get back. But for now, I'm not thinking about anything but having an amazing weekend with my girls. We finally checked into the hotel. Tiffany booked the penthouse suite, of course. After settling in our rooms, I decided to call Kae.
"Hello?" she answered.
"Hey girl, I finally checked into the room."
"That's amazing." I knew she smiling by the way she spoke. "So I know you probably wanna go see LA tomorrow so I was wondering if you and your girls wanted to go get dinner tomorrow night?"
"Of course. I think you should meet them, they're amazing."
"Okay and I have someone who says they know you coming."
I furrowed my eyebrows. "Who?"
"No spoiling the surprise. I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Yes, you will."
We said our goodbyes and hung up. I changed into my pajamas and laid in my bed. I was flipping through the channels when the next thing I know, I had fell asleep.

I gargled my mouthwash then spit it into the sink. I wiped my face with my towel before shutting off the water and going back into my room. I yawned as my phone vibrated on my nightstand. I glanced at the screen to see Aubrey text me.
Aubrey: Good morning. Hope you enjoy yourself this weekend with your girls. I'll be waiting on you when you get home.
I rolled my eyes and proceeded to get dressed. A half hour later, I was dressed and curling the last piece of my hair. Kae was sitting on my bed watching me. She had come over early to make sure we have a good day out today.
"So how long this been going on?" she asked.
"He been acting weird for a little while now but I just haven't said anything. But you know," I sat the curlers down. "I'm not worrying about Aubrey this weekend."
She nodded. " I don't blame you. Plus with everything the tabloids are saying, like "Drake's got a secret child" and all that foolishness."
I rolled my eyes. "Exactly. That's why I'm not worried about him. I just need some time away from him. Its always Aubrey this, Aubrey that. He's consuming my life."
I ran my fingers through my hair before checking myself out in the mirror. I turned to Kae. "You like these jeans?"
"Spin around."
I spun around so she can get a 360 view of my outfit which consisted of a dressy white top, light wash distressed jeans and nude heels.
"Its cute." She smiled at me.
I smirked and grabbed my wristlet.
"You ready?"
After shopping the day away, Kae took Tiffany, Arabella and I to this restaurant she eats at often. I was sipping on my margarita when my phone rang in my hand.
"Excuse me y'all." I got up and walked to the bathroom.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Harmony?"
"Yes? This is her speaking."
"Hey, its Melody."
I raised an eyebrow as I pushed the bathroom door open. "I'm sorry, I don't know a Melody."
"Melody O'Neal? we went to U of A together, remember? We TP'd Brandon's frat house after he ditched you at the cafè."
I giggled as I remembered her. "Melodyyyyyy. I remember you now. How are you? How'd you get my number?"
"I'm awesome. And you know I have my connections. I was honestly trying to do lunch with you since I heard you were in LA."
"Yeah sure of course. I'm free tomorrow afternoon around 2. Is that okay?"
"Yeah, I'll just text you the address of the restaurant."
"Okay that'll be fine. I'll see you tomorrow then?"
"Yes." she said. "We have so much to catch up on."
We chatted a little more before saying our goodbyes. I washed NY hands before walking back to the table.
"Business call?" Tiffany asked.
I sat down. "No actually. I just got a call from Melody O'Neal."
"Melody? Melody from college Melody?" Tiffany asked.
I nodded. I could see from the corner of my eye Kae tensed up.
"You okay?" I asked her.
She nodded quickly. "Excuse me, I gotta go to the bathroom."
She got up and left.
"That was weird."
"How dumb can you be?" Arabella stated.
I mugged at her. "What? What happened?"
"Well you know I read all the blogs so I know everything. But apparently there were rumors of Melody sleeping with Chris on multiple occasions. There is even a rumor that her newborn is Chris'." Tiffany said, matter-of-factly.
"Wait, what?" I asked. "What does Melody even do for her and Chris to cross paths?"
"She's a producer. She produced for lots of artists; Big Sean, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj. She even did a track for your man." Arabella said, shoving a piece of steak in her mouth.
"Aubrey?" I raised a eyebrow.
"Well, it obviously wasn't Brandon Harms." Tiffany stated, sarcastically.
I rolled my eyes as I seen Kae coming back to the table. "Look, we'll finish this at the hotel."

The rest of dinner was awkward. Kae wasn't saying much and we didn't know what to say so we stayed quiet. Now, we had all showered and was in the living room searching up Melody.
"See, look at her Instagram." Tiff said, handing me her phone. "She takes pictures with everybody she works with and there's like hella pictures of her and Chris."
I scrolled through some of her pictures and I definitely seen a lot of her and Chris. I stopped on a picture of the baby.
Welcome to the world, Maurice Leo O'Neal. the caption read.
"The baby doesn't have his last name, so how'd that be his baby?" I asked.
Arabella rolled her eyes at me. "A last name does not determine DNA. You can obviously tell that's his baby. Look at him, they look like twins."
"Yeah, don't be naïve just because Kae is your friend. That's his baby, I'm telling you." Tiffany said.
I sighed. I looked at the picture of the baby again. I couldn't even lie and say the baby didn't look like Chris cause they were twins. I locked the phone and sat it on the table.
"I just can't believe this. That's crazy. I couldn't imagine being in that situation." I said, leaning my head back in the couch.
Tiff shook her head. "Me either. Shit is crazy for real."
Arabella yawned beside me. "I don't know about y'all but I am sleepy. So breakfast at 9?"
"We'll be in here." I smiled.
"Okay good. Goodnight." Arabella spoke.
"Yeah, goodnight cupcake."
I smiled. "Goodnight y'all."
Arabella and Tiffany got up and walked to their rooms, leaving me in the living room. I turned off the TV.
I picked up my phone and went to the internet. I heistated before clicking the search bar. Drake rumors. I shook my head before erasing it and exiting out of the internet. I locked my phone before walking to my room to call it a night.Short but I needed to update. So enjoy it.
Melody to the side.
