1 & a half month later...
Harmony
I sat on the couch, drinking my peppermint hot cocoa as I watched the Polar Express. It was almost Christmas and I couldn't be any more excited. I just hated that Blake was going to be in LA on Christmas day. Aubrey and I broke up when I came back to Atlanta after my weekend in LA for Halloween. Frankly, I wasn't even sad. He packed his things and I haven't heard from him since. The lightning and heavy rainfall snapped me out my thoughts. I shook my head and snuggled under my blanket, prepared to be here all night. I reached on the table and grabbed a ponytail holder as I proceeded to put my hair in a messy bun. I leaned back into the couch as my doorbell rang. I glanced at my wall clock.
10:56 P.M., it read.
My eyebrows furrowed as I got up. I slipped on my house shoes and walked towards the door. The sound of the rain falling got louder and louder the closer I got to the door. I unlocked the door and opened it to see him standing before me.
"Hey babygirl." he smiled.
My smirk turned into a full-blown smile as he stood in front of me, soaking wet and holding a bouquet of flowers. I reached up and wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him passionately.
"Blake, what are you doing here?" I asked. "And come in, you're soaked."
He walked in as I closed the door behind him. He took off his Nike Dri-Fit jacket and wet tennis shoes.
"Let me get you something dry." I said, walking down the hallway to the laundry room.
I didn't feel all the way comfortable with letting Blake move in, or even sleep over considering Aubrey was just living here. But he travels so much that he ends up leaving gym bags full of clothes for me to wash at my house.
I reached in the laundry hamper of clothes I hadn't yet folded and pulled out a white tee and a pair of gray sweatpants. I also grabbed a pair of socks and walked back to the living room.
"Here you go," I said, approaching him. "Some clean and dry clothes for you."
He smiled as he grabbed my waist and kissed me once again. "Thanks beautiful."
I blushed as he continued to hold me.
"I'm going to take a quick shower. If you want to join me, I'll be waiting." He smirked, as he climbed the staircase.
Since I've been dealing with Blake, I had sex with him once and it was weird because I'm so used to Aubrey. So since that night two weeks ago, I haven't been trying to even give him the slightest idea I want to have sex with him. I know he'll figure something's is up if I keep it up, but I honestly don't know what to say.
I went to the kitchen and searched for a dessert to make. After endless thinking, I settled on ice cream sundaes, something Blake loves.
As I put the caramel syrup on my sundae, Blake came down the stairs. Upon entering the kitchen, he wrapped his hands around my waist & kissed my neck.
"Blakeeeee..." I whined. "I'm doing something."
His hands started to slide down to the top of my yoga pants.
"Why didn't you come in the shower with me?" His baritone voice purred in my ear.
I bit my lip in hopes of trying to suppress the moan that was desperately trying to come out.
"Can you at least eat the sundae?" I managed to get out. "I put everything you like in there."
I could feel his mouth turn into a smirk as he removed his hands from my pants and went over to the sink.
When he turned his back, I finally released the breath I didn't realize I was holding. This is going to be harder than I thought...

Aubrey
I blew the smoke from the hookah as two strippers danced in front of me. I licked my lips as the thicker stripper of the two twirled on the pole and the other dropped down into the splits. I grabbed my stack of cash and removed the rubber band before trowing half of the stack on the duo. My phone started vibrating in my pocket. I grabbed my phone to see Dave calling.
"What's the deal?" I answered.
"I'm ready for you, dog." He stated.
I hung up as I stood from my seat. I grabbed the rest of the money from the table and walked towards the door.
"Wait!" One of the strippers yelled. "We wasn't finished."
I turned back and glared at her. "I paid y'all more than enough. I'm out."
As I walked past all the private rooms, Harmony popped into my mind once again. I wasn't showing it but I'm taking this break up harder than I thought. I know I was sneaking around but I missed her. I missed waking up next to her and smelling that same sweet perfume. I couldn't get her off my mind and to make matters worse, I see she's moved on to a ball player; Blake Griffin, to be exact.
I shook my head as I slid my dark shades on my face as I walked outside to the bright lights of cameras flashing.
"Drake!"
"Drake, over here!"
"Drake, one shot! Look at me!"
I dodged through the large crowd of paparazzi to Dave's black Escalade on the other side of the parking lot.
"How you spoke to Harmony, Drake?"
"We see your ex is currently dating NBA star, Blake Griffin. How does that make you feel?"
I ignored their questions as I slid into the backseat of the truck. As he drove off, I sighed and removed my sunglasses.
"What's up, bro?" Dave asked, looking at me in the rear view mirror.
"I fucked up, dog."
He looked as a sign for me to continue.
"I let her slip away from me."
"Yeah, now she's off somewhere at a basketball game, cheering on the best power forward in the Western Conference." Dave said, bluntly.
I kissed my teeth as I slid down in my seat. "Thanks man." I replied, sarcastically.

I walked in the house and plopped on the couch. I grabbed the remote and turned on the television.
"Not only is NBA Champion Blake Griffin, sporting a blinging championship ring; he's also been seen a lot recently with Harmony Daniels, ex-girlfriend of hip hop sensation, Drake."
I glanced up to see photos of the two on the screen. One photo was of them two walking in the airport, holding hands. Another was of the two of them after a game hugging near the locker room.
"After a interview with Blake, it's obvious the two are becoming more than friends." The reporter smiled.
The screen then went to an interview with Blake.
"Blake, can you tell us what is the relationship with you and Harmony?" Another reporter asked.
He smiled as he wiped his forehead with the towel.
"Let's just say she's been helping me a lot and I'm grateful to have her around all the time." He grinned.
I turned off the television after that comment. I pondered for a second before throwing the remote across the room.
"FUCK!" I yelled.

Harmony on the side.
