The sun shined through my windows this morning, indicting another beautiful day. I rubbed my eyes and stretched. I looked over at my clock and it read 7:23 A.M. After brushing my teeth, I slipped into my slippers and walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I removed the strawberries, bananas and blueberries and threw them into the blender along with milk and yogurt. I poured myself a glass of my smoothie and went back upstairs to start my day. After getting dressed in a emerald dressy top, white skinny jeans and a pair of emerald flats, I was looking and feeling pretty fancy. I complimented my outfit with a gold Michael Kors watch and gold studs. I just brushed my hair out since my shower last night left my mid-back length hair wavy. My makeup was neutral. I checked myself out once more before grabbing my tote and leaving out the door.

Considering the fact I was supposed to be at work at 9 and it was 8:15, I stopped and grabbed Arabella and I a caramel frappe, which we both loved. I made it to the office at 8:45 and greeted everyone with a smile while en route to my office. Arabella's office sat directly across the hall from mine and I dropped off her frappe.

"Oh, you're a life-saver." She gasped, taking a sip. "I was in a hurry this morning because Lola took all morning finding a outfit for school." she said, referring to her six-year old daughter.

"It's all good, I had extra time on my hands." I shot her a smile and went across the hall to my office.

About 3 hours later, my office phone rang.

"Harmony Daniels speaking." I answered.

"Can I see you in my office, please?" Jane replied.

I sighed. "On my way." I hung up.

I walked up to the next floor to my boss' office.

I knocked twice to hear a 'Come in' yelled back. I walked in to see Jane and Arabella. If you thought Arabella was beautiful, Jane would take your breath away. She stood at 5'1" but she carried a big voice. She had a medium-dark complexion, long black hair that was curly most of time, and she had a nice figure.

"Have a seat." She smiled.

I took a seat next to Arabella. I shot her a look that read "why are we here?" She shrugged in response.

"Don't worry, you guys aren't in any trouble." She giggled. "I wanted to talk about this huge event on Saturday."

We listened in carefully.

"Now you two are my best fashion editors and all the big names will be at this event. So I would want to know who everybody is wearing. Armani, Versace, Givenchy. I want to know from head-to-toe." She ordered. Arabella and I just nodded in response.

"But don't be Boring Betty's. You guys can have a little fun, but not too much. Don't forget to get exclusives, alright?"

Arabella grinned. "You can count on us, Jane."

"I know I can." She smiled at us both. "Make me proud, you two."

"We will." I stated, raising from my seat. As we walked to the door, Jane stopped us.

"Don't forget, this event is in three days. Please, dress to impress."

"That's always, Jane." Arabella snickered before leading the way out the office.

The next three days seemed to fly by. Before I knew it, it was Saturday. Jane decided me and Arabella could take the day off to prepare for the party, so we met up for breakfast. I dressed rather simple in a white fitted v-neck, distressed skinny jeans and red pumps. My quilted Chanel bag and silver Michael Kors watch was my accessories of choice today. I made it to Waffle House before Arabella so I decided to order us two coffees.
