Harmony

Aubrey slept over for the past few days and it's been nice but that whole Nicki situation has been bothering me.

"Well, just handle it, Debra damn!" He yelled, hanging up his phone.

I finished his plate and sat it on the dining table. "What's the matter?"

"Eh, just business stuff." He brushed it off. "What'd you cook?" He asked, walking towards the dining room.

"Baked pork chops, mashed potatoes and macoroni and cheese. Oh, and some dinner rolls." I smiled , sitting my own plate on the table.

"Damn girl, this look so good."

He was finna dig in until I popped his hand.

"Uh-uh! You know we pray first." I sat his drink down and sat at my seat.

He laughed. "Dang mom, my bad."

We bowed our heads and said grace. Mid-way through dinner, I asked more about Nicki.

"What's the deal with her?" I said, eating a piece of my roll.

"Who?" He looked confused.

"Nicki."

He dropped his fork on his plate. "Really? This conversation again?"

"Well, it's just a little abnormal how upset she got over you having a girlfriend." I folded my arms.

"I already told you. It's just business, nothing more than that." He looked at me. I raised an eyebrow.

"Come on, Harmony, damn. I wouldn't countine to lie to you and I damn sure wouldn't allow her to walk in your crib if me and her had some going. How disrespectful do you think I am?" He questioned.

I scoffed and walked into the kitchen. "If you want your plate washed, I suggest you bring it in here because when I go lay down, I ain't getting back up."

I heard him enter the kitchen a few seconds and sit his plate in the sink as I washed them.

He leaned against the counter and looked at me.

"What?" I looked at him and rolled my eyes.

He got behind me and kissed my neck.

"Come on, bae. Don't act like this. I don't even feel like that towards her no more and I haven't in almost 3 years."

I was thinking about forgiving him. But he really didn't anything wrong anyways. I guess that's just my insecurities kicking in and that always seems to be a problem in my relationships. But I wasn't going to allow it to mess up this one. I turned off the water and faced him.

"I'm sorry, baby. I'm just overreacting, I guess." I put my arms around his neck. "If it was more than business, you would tell me, right?"

"Of course, I wouldn't have you looking stupid, girl." He kissed me.

I smirked and jumped into his arms. "How about I make it up to you?"

"Now you're talking my language." He kissed me again and started walking upstairs.

Drake

It was Sunday and Wayne was coming to Atlanta to come record his verse on this track I had. I had brought Harmony along, even though she's against coming to the studio with me. She claims she has better things to do than 'sit and watch me rap the same thing over and over again.' But the real reason I wanted her there was so I could introduce her to Wayne. I felt we were getting a little more serious than a few dates and goodnight kisses, so it was only right.
