Aubrey
I woke up and rubbed my eyes. I grabbed my phone off the nightstand to see if Harmony hit me back; of course she didn't. I rose up and stretched. I got up and put on my pajama bottoms. I walked next door to see Aubriana sleeping peacefully.
Yeah, you guessed it. I slept at Jasmine's last night but I slept in the guest bedroom, by myself. Plus, it's my condo so why not?
I walked downstairs to see Jasmine ironing Justin's shirt in the living room.
"Morning." She said, glancing at me before looking back at the shirt.
"Good morning." I said back, flopping on the couch.
Justin came running in, holding a black belt and a brown belt.
"Mom, which belt I wear?" He asked frantically.
"The black one, baby. You're wearing black shoes." Jasmine spoke softly.
He ran back into his room.
"Why he's so dressed up today?" I asked.
"Career Day is today for the school. He wants to be a lawyer." She smirked.
She walked into the kitchen and packed his lunch.
"Can I have a orange today?" He asked, walking into the living room. "I can't eat another apple."
I laughed along with Jasmine. "Of course you can."
He grabbed his button-down Jasmine ironed and put it on. "This shirt makes me look real professional, huh Aubrey?"
"Yeah little man." I stood and walked over to him. "The belt, dress shoes and suit jacket? Don't take nobody's girl today."
"Today? Man, that's everyday." Justin smiled, slapping my palm.
Jasmine cleared her throat and raised her eyebrow.
He looked down. "I'll go get my briefcase." He went into his room.
"That's why he think he's a ladies man now. Cause of your foolishness."
I opened my mouth until I heard Aubriana cooing on the baby monitor. "I'll go get her."
Jasmine nodded and continued to pack Justin's lunch.
I walked upstairs to Aubriana's room to her grabbing her feet and cooing.
"Hey daddy's princess!" I smiled, picking her up.
She grinned and started to wiggle around.
"How are you this morning baby?" I kissed her fat cheeks.
She giggled in response.
I patted her diaper. "Seems like you need a change, huh?"
I walked over to the changing station and laid her down. I proceeded to clean her and change her diaper. After I finished, she was even more happy. She kept swarming around and giggling.
"Why you so excited fatty?" I smiled, picking her up.
She just continued to giggle as I walked downstairs.
"Hi mommy's little chunkie!" Jasmine smiled at Aubriana, grabbing her from my arms.
"She's been smiling and giggling since she woke up. She's excited today." I stated, smiling at the baby.
"Must've slept good last night. You ready to get dressed, fat fat?" Jasmine smiled.
She removed Aubriana's onesie from her body and replaced it with a red dress and cheetah print booties.
"What y'all have planned today?" I asked, leaning against the door frame.
"Just a little shopping and mommy-daughter time; nothing too extravagant." She responded.
I nodded. "I'm probably just finna go to the studio. Ain't nothing else to do."
"Since wifey's out of town kicking it?" Jasmine stated.
I turned and glared at her. "Yeah, that's exactly why."
I grabbed my car keys and headed to the door. "I'll be back later." I closed the door before hearing her response.
Harmony
I giggled as I sat in the chair at the nail salon with Melody. We had met at this little bistro in the middle of Calabasas for lunch to catch up. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical coming to lunch with her after hearing everything about her and Chris, but it went away after reminiscing on old times we had.
"Girl, it's hard to come up in a industry like this being a woman. I mean, hell, Nicki on top now but it was hard as hell for her." Melody spoke.
I nodded, before sipping more of my wine.
"So I hear you have a baby now?" I asked, changing the subject.
Melody smirked. "Yes, a two month old boy. I named him Maurice."
"Maurice; that's cute. Is that a family name or does it mean something?"
"His dad's middle name."
I was going to ask more questions to get more insiders but the nail tech called her to do her nails, but that was more than enough information to share with the girls.
Later that night, I was putting on my costume. I slid my fishnets on when someone knocked at my door.
"Come in." I spoke.
Kae walked in dressed as a French maid.
"Oooo, arrest me officer." She giggled. "Your costume is really cute."
"Eh, I feel a bit cliché." I spoke.
She waved me off. "Girl, you look fine. How was your lunch date today?"
I tensed up a bit. "Good. Played catch-up mostly, but it was good."
She nodded. "That's good. Well, the make up artist is in the living room whenever you finish."
I smiled. "Thanks Kae, you're the best."
She nodded before walking out, leaving me to my lonely once again. I thought about telling Kae but I don't how to say something like that or if it's even my place to. I was stuck. I knew who could help me though. I picked up my phone and dialed his number. It rang twice before picking up.
"Hello?"
I looked at the phone confused. "Hello, Aubrey?"
"No, this is Justin."

Okay, so there's the update. Long time coming but I've been extremely busy. But of course, vote, comment and share.
Harmony to the side.
