"So that cute necklace.. Is the gadget?" I ask
"Well duh that's what I just said" Shane sassily says back
I look away to keep my anger in check, which causes my eyes to land onto Tessa. I looked at her waiting for her to notice me but she seems to be really focused on the necklace. It's cute really, she looks like a kid when their parent takes them to Toys R Us.
"Well it seems that she likes it" I blurt out
"It seems so" Shane chuckles
"So.. How does it work?"
"Well when Tessa wears the necklace and happens to regain an emotion a certain color will show up." "Since this is a new gadget that seems to be all we know.. So Scarlett it's your job to keep track of her emotion by seeing the color of the necklace change and write down what emotion it matches to. Do you understand?"
"I guess.."
Wait.. What if someone wears this besides Tessa?
"Don't worry it only responds to Tessa unless Tessa truly wishes for it to belong to someone else then only she can declare new ownership. Just.. Don't let it break" Shane states

"Your name is Scarlett?" Tessa says questioning me
"Yes, Lisa was a coverup name.. So nice to meet you Tessa, I'm Scarlett smith and this is my twin brother Shane smith"
"I see.."
Well.. I guess it's time for OPERATION HUMAN!!
