Anything Could Happen

Ellie wakes up and checks her phone then grins as she remembers that Dougie is downstairs. Her inner fangirl, which has been hidden away for years, is going crazy. Her crush since she was 17 is actually in her house. She goes out of her room and hears that Dougie is awake in the spare room. She pops her head around the door

"Morning."

Dougie's sitting on the bed "morning beautiful" he smirks.

Ellie looks around the room and spots the McFly box

"Shit."

She heads over to the box, her heart was pounding. She picks up the box

"Yeah, err, this goes in another room. I will go take this."

Dougie laughs. "Aww Ellie I did not know you were such a big fan of McFly. You know I remember that night at the concert."

Ellie hides her face behind the box

"Fuck, Dougie you weren't supposed to see that, now you're going to think I am an absolute weirdo."

Dougie stands up and walks towards Ellie, he opens the box and rummages until he can find the photo and takes it out of the box.

"You are not a weirdo, I mean look at how adorable you are, fuck I can't believe how hot you've become. If anything I was weirdo back then with the stupid red hair." Dougie says reassuring her. Dougie puts the photo back into the box and takes it off Ellie, then placing it on the floor. He holds Ellie hands

"No fan should ever be ashamed of who they are, even if they're freaking Ellie Goulding."

Ellie is a mess of emotions, she can't believe this actually happening she constantly thinks it's a dream that she will awaken from. Ellie blushes and Dougie pulls her in for a hug. She squeezes him tight, and can feel his muscles.

She thinks to herself "Holy shit he's ripped".

Ellie lets go of Dougie and realises she still has to take him home.

"Okay, I'm going to go get changed, make us some breakfast if you want then drive you home."

Ellie rushes to her room and hastily tries to put her make-up on and find some clothes that would impress Dougie. She puts on her black skinny jeans and a woolly jumper. Quickly brushes through her hair and runs downstairs to see Dougie is already making breakfast.

"Dougie no, you're a guest you shouldn't be making breakfast" Ellie said.

"It's ok, I like to cook. I was going to make a bacon sandwich but then I realised that you had no meat and vegan butter in your fridge. So I went to the next best thing I can make. Cereal." Dougie and Ellie laughed.

She sat down at her little table, Dougie turned around and placed the bowl in front of her. He then placed his bowl and the table and brought over two cups of green tea. Dougie sat down opposite Ellie and started to eat his breakfast. Ellie couldn't stop staring at Dougie. She still couldn't believe he was in her house! Dougie couldn't believe he was sat in front of such a hot babe. Being around her just made him forget about the rest of the world, it was like she released a love spell that had him in a trance. Ellie grabs her keys

"Come one Douglas let's get you home"

Dougie rolled his eyes "Did you really have to call me Douglas it's not even my name"

Ellie turns around and sticks her tongue out at him, he does the same.

As Ellie locks the door to her house she gets a texts off Hannah

'When u rdy 4 studio sesh'

'I'll be like an hr just gonna drop off Doug'

'Ooooo Elena, he stayed the night, wow you've been busy'

'NOT LIKE THAT, although I kinda wish that did happen'

Ellie smirks and puts her phone into her pocket and they get into her car. Ellie tries to do her seatbelt but it gets caught at the top

"Oh fucking thing, why does it always get fucking stuck." Ellie shouts to herself.

"Here let me help you."

Dougie then slowly leans over across Ellie and untangles the seatbelt pulling it over her and buckling Ellie in. Ellie stares at Dougie, her heart starts to beat fast. She thought to herself "I really like him, does he like me!" She coughs a little catching her breath and finally replies

"Thanks" looking back at the wheel.

She starts the car but doesn't move. Dougie laughs

"You have no idea where you're going, do you?"

"Not a fucking clue!"

Ellie laughs with him. She blushes, and Dougie starts to give her the directions back to his. On the way there Ellie turns up the radio as they're driving. The song suddenly changes from 'Money on My mind' to 'Anything Could Happen'. She says under her breath "Oh crap!" and reaches to change the radio station. Dougie grabs her hand,

"Don't you dare change it, I love this song"

He dramatically turns toward her and begins to sing. Ellie can't stop laughing at the seriousness in his face and is shocked that he actually knew the words to her song. She puts her eyes back on the road, but can still hear Dougie singing he grabs onto her hand again as the song reaches its chorus "Since we found out , that anything could happen" Ellie starts to sing along with him.
