Chapter 33

*****DAN'S POV*****

My bedroom door opened making me enter that half awake state. I was too lazy to open my eyes to see whoever entered the room- I assumed it was Ari.

All I heard was rummaging through some drawers when her cell phone went off. Yep that was definitely her.

"Hello?" She whispered. I just chuckled as I opened eyes and began to stretch my arms up.

"Yes that sounds great... Okay... See you then," She hung up.

"Good morning," I sat up.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry, I didn't want to wake you," Ari leaned over and kised me good morning.

I threw my black and grey covers off of me, "Why are you dressed up? It's early."

"First of all, it's noon," She grabbed her purse hanging in the closet, "and second of all, I agreed to go shopping with Louise and Zoe today."

"Oh right, I completely forgot," I didn't. I had something planned to do when she was gone.

"Well you look gorgeous," I snaked my hands around her waist and kissed her cheek, "as always."

"Aw babe," She blushed.

"So how long are you going to be out?" I asked as I opened the drawer to find a shirt to put on.

"Probably for a couple of hours, we are going to go shopping and get manicure and possibly lunch so maybe like 4 hours? Why?"

Play cool Dan....

"Just wondering," I pulled down my black tee over my head.

"Honey, have you seen my other black earring?" She said.

"I'm, I think I saw it over here," I walked over to my dresser when a quick sense of pain shot through my foot, "Ow!"

"I think you found it," She shuffled over and picked it up.

"Yeah, it looks like I did," I chuckled as I rubbed my foot.

"Sorry about that," She frowned.

"It's okay, at least it wasn't like that one time when Phil sat on one of my mine and practically pierced his bum."

"Oh yeah, I remember that tweet," She giggled as she put in the earring that decided to impale my poor foot. She adjusted her hair and sighed.

"Is something wrong?" I hugged her from behind as she looked at herself in the mirror.

"I don't know, do I look like I'm trying too hard to fit in with Zoe and Louise? They are such beautiful girls and like makeup gurus and I have no idea what I'm doing-"

"Hey-you look beautiful, as always," I grinned.

"Shhhh no," She turned in my arms and covered my mouth.

My voice came out muffled, "But it's true."

She shook her head no with a slight rosiness on her cheeks. I shook my head yes.

"You're a dork," She rested her forehead against mine.

Ring ring

"Is that my phone?"

"It's not mine," She shrugged.

I rolled my eyes, "But answering it requires me letting you go..."

"I think you will survive," she laughed and stepped back, "go answer it. It might be someone important."

It turned out to be my producer of the radio show calling about the next show date. No offense to them, but they never stop talking on the phone. I walked into the lounge to see Ari packing up her purse.
