Chapter 31

*****DAN's POV*****

"Want the window seat?" I waddled behind Ari as I hugged her from behind. We were slowly making our way down the aisle of the plane.

"If you don't mind, yes. I haven't been on a plane in awhile," She smiled up at me.

"Dan hug later, walk faster," Phil said from behind me.

"I literally can't go any faster, there is a line of people in front of us." I turned to him. I don't know why but Phil think the plane won't take off even if we are five minutes behind schedule.

The flight attendant found our seats so Ariella sat by the window with a childish excitement while I threw our backpacks up into the space compartment. I pulled out my laptop and had to dig for my good headphones which were of course almost impossible to find in my Mary Poppins bag.

"Do you need anything out of here right now?" I bent under the space to look at her.

"No," Her voice sounded a like it was shaking. Ari was looking out the window when she quickly wiped her eyes. Is she crying?

"What's wrong, love?" My voice was filled with concern. I cupped her face but she wouldn't look at me. Was she regretting this decision? Was she not ready to move in with me?

"I'm just," She glanced up at me with her glossy eyes, "really happy."

"Aww, come here love."

I leaned forward and pressed a sincere kiss against her forehead.

"I'm happy that this is actually happening, after Austin, I thought that all guys were going to be just like him, but then I met you. You proved my theory wrong. My whole perspective changed, and now that this day is here- I know that I am actually doing something good for once in my life and I can't thank you enough for that."

"I love you so much," I whispered before I wrapped my arms around her and held her.

"Are we there yet?" Ari murmured as lifted her head up from my chest.

I looked down at her, "It is at least a ten hour flight, and we have been on the plane for only uh-"

I looked down at my phone.

"Two hours."

"Ughh," I know that Ari isn't a huge fan of flying, so I could sense that she was starting to get a little anxious.

"How about," I soothingly ran my fingers through her hair," you take a nap and I will wake you up when we get to Philadelphia, okay?"

"Okay," she cuddled into me, "Good night."

"Good night," I chuckled as I rested my chin on the top of her hair. A nap actually sounded quite nice.

*****ARIELLA'S POV*****

We were finally on our last flight heading over to our new home. I was practically shaking in my seat due to a mixture of excitement and fear of flying over the large distance of the Atlantic Ocean. I switched seats with Phil so that Dan and Phil could discuss new video ideas.

Artie was busy typing away on her computer, so naturally having the attention span of a seven year old, I put my feet up on the back of Dan's chair. Time to annoy my boyfriend.

I began to tap the chair in a steady beat. It was funny to see Dan try to continue talking to Phil even though you can tell he was started to be annoyed of his chair moving. I nudged Artie to join, and of course she did. Phil began to shake his head and chuckle.
