Chapter 5: Learning to deal  with what comes to you….Even if it is a wolf

--------------------------------------------------------

After the run I was exhausted though it didn’t even seem to affect him at all. He seemed perfectly at ease, no hard breathing or sweat on his forehead, like me of course, I looked as if I was about to pass out. He just stared at me and waited for me to finish catching my breath.

After wards we walked throughout the forest and back to the house in silence. It seemed awkward for the first few moments but soon just fell to a sweet serene feeling. As we reached the clearing I heard the howls I had been hearing every day since I had arrived here, I saw Tanner turn his head in the direction it came from and then give a questioning look to me. I just shrugged and kept walking but I didn’t hear him following, when I turned around to see why he wasn’t behind me he was gone.

I rushed back to where the woods started and looked around but he was nowhere in sight.  The house was dark and quiet. I took a moment to glance around and then figured I’d pack my things out of tanner’s room and conquer an empty one for myself. The room was a pale yellow with a bed a lot smaller then his had been. I figured he probably plan to usually have more than one person staying in that bad. I laughed and shuttered at the same time. It was completely wrong to think about him….doing …that.

I went to grab my last bag out of his room when I heard his phone go off, I grabbed it and answered without a problem. “Hello, Tanner, don’t hang up, please I miss you…” I didn’t respond. “Tanner I haven’t seen you in almost two weeks, please talk to me.” I hung up the phone and went on trying to ignore my anger. Who knew why I was actually angry, maybe I was actually just completely disgusted in his tactics.

I finished unpacking my clothes and left my girl products in his bathroom seeing as mine didn’t have its own, that might get awkward. I could just imagine me walking in on him banging away on some chick. Hopefully he knows the sock on the door knob sign or something to save us all our eyes. I laughed at the visions in my head, his face as I saw what he was doing. The house was so beautiful all the floors being hardwood and shiny, it felt very homey and country to me.

It was the complete opposite of my house my parents were more of the modern type newest fashions and furniture. I got sick of it quickly; my mom never wanted me wearing the same thing twice, which sucked if you really liked the outfit. But my daddy would help me and sneak the ones I really liked back into my closet when he could. I smiled at the thought of them.

I hadn’t realized how much I had missed them and that I would never see them again even if he let me leave this place. I knew they were gone and truthfully I felt as if I was too.

Before long I found myself in the living room watching one of the only chick flicks I could find in the house Maid in Manhattan and eating some of the chocolate that had magically appeared in the cupboards of the kitchen.
