Chapter 15

Life went on, day by day I grew closer to Quien we spent our days in the woods or testing my strength wrestling and having fun. It grew boring when I won every time. Every so often I would catch a glimpse of tanners wolf running around out of view in the woods. It was weird when we were in the same room or we walked by each other I saw him fight the urge to talk to me or touch me he just kept his eyes on the ground.
But as the days passed I grew happier with Quien we adjusted to sleeping in the same bed, which was weird the first few times but I couldn’t let him keep sleeiping on the floor I could hear him tossing and turning all through the night. The conversation was pretty hilarious the night I asked.
As he settled onto the floor and I began to change into my big tshirt I turned to look at him.
“Quien,….”
“Yeah Mi-Mi?”
“You know we could both fit in this bed right, it Is a queen , its not like we would have to snuggle or anything.”
He just looked at me I could tell he was having an internal debate with himself, either that or tanner was screaming at him not to.
“We can even sleep under different blankets, I really casn’t stand you sleeping on the floor anymore . Not only must you be really uncomfortable but all you do is toss and turn and with this sensitive hearing it keeps me awake all through the night. So please Quien just sleep in the bed with me.”
He just nodded and grabbed his blankets and pillow off the floor and within seconds the bed was made and we were settled in. We said our goodnights and before I could speak another word Quien was out cold beside me. I could hear Tanner in his room as he slammed his fist into the wall, seconds later I heard him pick up his phone and call her. All he said was come over.
Atleast he never ceased to amaze me with his crudeness or his need to get laid. I was thirsty and I had noticed my blood supply was running low here. I decided to make a trip to the house and clear asnd soon enough I would have to hit the blood bank in town for a new supply. I picked myself up threw my yoga pants and a tank and hoodie and headed out the door.
“Where are you going?” Tanner whispered at the corner.
“I need to restock my supply ,” I said as I turned my head and smirked showing my pointy pearly whites.
He smiled back at me. Genuinely smiled. Why did he smile he is supposed to be disguisted by my….diet .
His smile was still as beautiful as ever and the fact that it was held by such an ugly person on the inside.
“Need any help?” he said as I trotted down the stairs.
“Your busy. Your girlfriend just arrived actually. She will be knocking….” As a knock sounded at the door I turned and gave him another smirk.
I went to the kitchen and quenched my thrist before I left and I felt my body fill back up with strength and my eyes get brighter and my ears hear the birds in the air and the rabbits on the ground. As I opened the door to the car and slid in I felt his presence next to me.
“What are you doing, Where is she…?”
“I sent her home, told her I was tired and didn’t feel well and I would call in the morning..”
