{Kathryn's POV}
I have to admit; yesterday's events definitely have left me confused. Luke and I actually got along without screaming at each other, and it was nice. Luke's actually kind of funny.
I replay everything that happened yesterday in my head. The way Luke smiled. I've never seen him smile before, but now that I have seen it, I can't stop thinking about. The way his teeth were perfectly straight and white. The way he had dimples when he was smiling extra big. I never want to see him not smile again.
What really makes me confused is the feelings I had when I was with him. When ever he looked at me I would get butterflies in my stomach. I got nervous around him.
I can't believe I told him that his smile was cute. Who says that to someone you're supposed to hate? What's really strange is he said mine was too. Maybe he was just saying that to be nice, but then again, when is Luke Hemmings nice...
My thoughts are interrupted by the sound of my doorbell going off. My mom is at work so I'm home by myself. Her new job requires her to work until 4:30 on Saturdays. I run down the stairs and find Emily on my front porch when I open the door.
"We need to talk." She says. Oh no, what did I do this time. I always mess up everything. She's probably mad about me not telling her that Luke and I got detention together.
"Okay," I say nervously letting her in. "Is everything okay?"
"I guess so...I hope so...I honestly don't know." She sighs and shakes her head.
I nod my head and lead her into my room. She sits down on my bed and I close the door. Then I join her on the bed.
"So what..." I'm cut off.
"I think I like Michael." She blurts out and her cheeks turn a deep shade of red.
"You what?!"
"I know it's crazy, but when he kissed me..."
"He what?!" I yell.
"Oh I left that part out didn't I?" She laughs.
"Yeah you did!" I yell excitedly. "Oh my god Emily that's great!" I quickly hug her.
"Yeah I definitely didn't expect him to be my first." She shakes her head.
"Wait you've never kissed someone before?" I ask confused. Surely her and Austin have kissed.
"Nope." She laughs.
"What about you and Austin?" I ask.
She starts laughing. "Austin and I are friends nothing else."
"Oh I just thought maybe you guys used to date or something." I shake my head filling stupid.
"No we've been friends and nothing else ever since we were little." She laughs, but quickly stops. I can tell she's thinking about something and it's bothering her.
"So what's wrong? You like Michael that's great!"
"I know...but Luke caught us kissing on the couch." She sighs. "And he wasn't too happy about it. He sorta killed Michael out."
"What! Why! Michael is his best friend!"
"He is, but Luke's really protective when it comes to guys liking me...especially touching me."
"You're 15! He needs to back off. Besides Michael is one of his best friends, he should be able to trust him with you." I say already mad at Luke again.
"I know...but it's really hard to change Luke's mind about something. He's really stubborn." She says. "Besides he isn't the only problem. Austin doesn't like him at all."
