{Kathryn's POV}

I definitely did not expect what happened yesterday. Who would've thought that my favorite band member was Emily's brother? On second thought, who would've thought that my favorite band member was such a jerk?

I didn't even say anything to Luke and he decided he hated me as soon as he found out I was a fan. Michael definitely didn't help by telling him that I was his number one fan. I'm going to get back at him for that later.

Sure, I'm a big fan of theirs. They are extremely talented and I love their covers, but I would never call myself their number one fan. I don't have a fan account or stalk them. I just love their music.

If I hadn't of been so shocked when I saw them I would've said a few words to Luke. I don't particularly like his attitude. He had no right to talk to me like that when he doesn't even know me. I will confront Luke soon and ask him what his problem is, I think as I get out of my bed to brush my teeth and get dressed for day two.

Hopefully it will be better than yesterday. Everything was going great until I went to Emily's house. It's wasn't Emily's fault though. She didn't know Luke would act like that.

"Honey! Be down stairs in 15 minutes," I hear my mom call from downstairs. Great, I spent so much time thinking about yesterday that I wasn't even getting ready. I quickly throw on a shirt and a pair of jeans. Today I decide on wearing black converse instead.

I walk down the stairs and find Emily standing on next to my mom.

"Hey!" She smiles.

"Emily has offered to take you to school today." My mom smiles at me. I can tell she's happy that I made a friend.

"Thanks so much!" I tell Emily before grabbing my things and heading out the door with her.

"Love you!" My mom shouts before the door closes.

"Your mom seems nice." Emily looks down at the ground.

"Yeah, she's okay. I think she just feels really bad about forcing me to move around the world." I laugh. " Your mom seems nice too."

"Yeah..." Emily sighs.

That's when I realize. Emily can't drive. She's 15, just like me. And that's the moment when I look up and I see him in his car.

"So Luke's taking us?" I choke out.

"Kathryn I'm really sorry about yesterday, and I think Luke is too. I don't want to make you uncomfortable though so I can just call my mom and she..."

"No it's fine." I assure her. "No worries."

"You sure?" She asks nervously.

"Positive." I smile.

We walk over to his car and I open the back door. Emily gets in the front seat.

Once I get my stuff in and close my door, Luke starts to drive away. The car is filled with awkward silence.

I watch as Emily nudges Luke with her shoulder. Luke clears his throat, "I'm sorry about yesterday." He says coldly. Its almost like it hurts to say it.

His apology doesn't really satisfy me, and I want to say so much more, but all that comes out is, "It's fine."

No one says anything else for a while until Emily finally speaks up when we're pulling into the parking lot. "We should start car pooling more often. That way your Mom won't have to drive you in everyday."

"That would be nice." I try my best to give her a smile but I just can't. Sure I'd love to ride in with Emily everyday, but If Luke keeps acting the way he is, I don't know if I'll feel comfortable.
