"I'm so glad we could meet up!" Zoe smiled.

"Me too! It's been awhile," I smiled, giving Zoe a hug.

We had decided to meet up for brunch together. Ever since Miami, about two weeks ago, Zoe and I have been texting a lot but haven't met up to chat.

"So, apart from what you've told me over text, how was Miami?" Zoe smiled.

"It was really a lot of fun. We went on the beach a lot and just hung out together," I smiled.

"Joe really likes you, he always talks about you when you're not around."

"Aw," I blushed.

"Yeah, so what's been going on?"

"Well, I've found a flat, that I will be moving into by the end of this week!" I smiled.

"Minx! That's awesome!" Zoe squealed.

"I know. I'm really excited! However, on a more serious note. Can I tell you something? I haven't told anyone, but I think I'm just overthinking."

"Of course! I can keep a secret," Zoe nodded, in a hushed tone.

"Well, I'm really nervous, because I was supposed to start my period already, and I haven't yet."

"So, you think you might be pregnant?" Zoe asked, quietly, but in shock.

"Maybe. I haven't told Joe yet."

"Well, don't worry about it. I know it's easier said than done. Why didn't you guys use protection?"

"I thought we always did, so the other night I tried thinking of a possible time we didn't. I don't know, maybe my birthday?" I shrugged.

"Well, I definitely won't say anything, atleast until you know for sure. But I think you should talk to Joe. If you are, would you want to keep the baby?"

"Yeah, I don't think I could go through with an abortion. I just know my mum will be disappointed if I am pregnant."

"Well, you always have Joe, and Alfie and I!" Zoe smiled.

"I know, thank you," I smiled.

Zoe and I continued talking, but on a more happier, and joking, note. We walked around a couple shops before heading back to Zoe and Alfie's flat.

"I would definitely talk to Joe. I think you two will be okay though," Zoe nodded, giving me a hug, "Maybe you should take a pregnancy test?"

"Yeah, I think I'll stop and grab one on the way home," I nodded.

"Let me know how it goes! Love you!" Zoe smiled as I left.

I went to a corner shop, a bit aways from home, and went back to the house. I put the pregnancy test in my bag, really nervous of the results.

"Hi Minx!" My mum smiled as I got home.

"Hi," I nodded.

"Are you alright?" She questioned.

"Yeah, just tired. I think I need a small rest," I lied.

"Oh, okay. Let me know if you need anything."

"Okay," I nodded, before going upstairs to my room.

A part of me is really nervous to take the test. My period might just have gotten off track from travelling. I honestly can't really remember a time that we didn't use a condom, so either we totally forgot, or it broke? Maybe I shouldn't take the test, am I just overreacting? Well, atleast if I take the test, I'll know if I'm not. So many thoughts are running through my head. My mum will be so upset. I don't even know how Joe will react.
