"Minx! How was Los Angeles? I've been meaning to call, or stop around, but I've had doctors' appointments and I wasn't sure if you would be here, or at Joe's flat," Nora smiled happily, giving me a hug.

"Hi! No worries! It was a lot of fun! How is the baby?" I smiled putting my hand on her stomach, which is slowly gettig bigger.

"Alright, I've still been getting morning sickness, which stinks, but I'll get over it. So, tell me about Los Angeles."

"It was loads of fun. Oh! I met up with Eva! She lives there!" I smiled.

"Eva?! I miss her so much! How is she doing?"

"Really well!" I nodded.

"That's good! I miss her!" Nora sighed, "Anyway, how are you and Joe?"

"We're alright, he's really busy with work right now," I nodded, "I haven't seen him, or talked to him, in a few days now, but yeah."

"Did something happen? Or is he just working a lot?"

"He says he just needs to work."

"Have you guys f.ucked recently?" Nora asked.

"What?!" I laughed.

"I'm serious! If you haven't, he might think you're over him?" Nora suggested.

"Oh my God!" I laughed.

"Have you?"

"Well," I stuttered, nervously.

"I won't judge. I don't care," Nora shrugged, "It's not like I haven't," She laughed, pointing at her stomach.

"We haven't had sex for maybe a week. But, I... You know... Um, gave Joe... The morning we came back from L.A."

"D.amn Minxie!" Nora giggled.

"Well," I defended, giggling, "Do you and Eric even... Since you're pregnant?"

"Yeah! My stomach isn't too big to get in the way, yet," Nora giggled.

"Oh God!" I laughed.

Nora and I laughed at our weird conversation. It felt good to laugh and be care-free.

"Do you feel any different being pregnant?" I asked randomly.

"Um, well, I have another human inside of me, so..." Nora laughed, "But, well... I don't know how to explain it."

My phone buzzed and I looked at it.

"It's Joe!" I smiled.

"Don't open it!" Nora stopped me.

"What? Why?"

"Wait a few minutes. Don't make it look like you've been sitting around waiting to hear from him," Nora said as if it was obvious.

"He knows I always check my phone," I shrugged as I opened the text.

"Hi Minxie. I've just about finished my work, want to come over tonight? Love you."

"He wants me to go over tonight."

"So, go! You two are engaged, this shouldn't be like a petty school relationship. Don't worry about it so much," Nora shrugged.

"I know," I nodded, knowing she was right.

These past few days have been fine, and although I miss having Joe around, I have still been able to get on with my everyday life. God, it sounds like he's died, what the h.ell...

"Okay, well I'm going to head out, Eric's been texting me this whole time," Nora joked, raising her eyebrows.

"I've never seen this side of you!" I laughed at her newly discovered side who's not afraid to talk about sex.
