Chapter 9

Caius’ POV

I looked at the pathetic ‘Heroes’ that Lightning had started to collect. I smirked. She must think I’m dangerous and serious now. I looked at the ones I had recruited.

I had found Dante, the half breed demon, first in Fortuna. He was the one with white hair and blue eyes, wearing a black shirt, red pants, a red trench coat and cowboy boots. I noticed he had two guns and a silver sword on his back with a skull on its hilt.

After him, I went to Midgar where I found three silverettes. The tallest one was the one who had the longest hair which reached his knees and green cat-like eyes, wearing a long black coat with silver pauldrons, black boots and black clothing known as Sephiroth. The one with long hair up to the middle of his back and the same cat green eyes wore a long black coat zipped up over his chest with black boots, shoulder guards and straps over his torso known as Yazoo whose weapon was a double barrelled gun which looked like a sword. The last one had spiky silver hair with the exact same cat green eyes, wearing a full body suit of leather with shoulder guards and crossing black straps known as Loz. Loz’s weapon was on his left arm which was a silver gauntlet.

I headed to the hideout where Tantalus and Creon were hiding in. Tantalus had blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing a green shirt and jeans with trainers. He had a sword in his hand. For some reason, he looked like one of the ‘Heroes’ that Lightning had recruited. The other one had coal black hair and green eyes and wore a black t-shirt and light blue faded jeans. He wore high tops. He didn’t have a weapon with him apparently. But I was okay with it. Both of them were demigods.

The last three I found here. The one lying on the ground had black hair, wearing a black trench coat, black pants, black shirt and black boots known as Bastion. The one trying to get him up had silver hair and silver pupil less eyes, wearing black robes with huge black wings was known as Samael. The other one was wearing a complete black suit with black hair and flaming red eyes who was known as Lucifer.

I folded my arms and listened in to the argument that Dante had caused.

Dante looked at the ‘Heroes’ too. “Ooh crap!” he mused. “Vergie’s actually on their side!”

“Who the hell is Vergie?” Yazoo asked.

“My twin, little strawberry milkshake.”

“Shut the hell up.”

He snickered. “If that’s what you think.”

Sephiroth pointed his long katana at Dante’s throat. “Shut. Up.”

Dante looked at the katana before pointing his ebony coloured gun at Sephiroth’s face. “Who the hell are you to tell me what to do? I can kill you, you know.”

Sephiroth looked at the gun and attempted to get rid of it but Dante was fast. He jumped up and kicked Sephiroth in the face. I sighed as they started to fight even faster. I slammed my sword into the ground and the eye started to glow its purple hue, making darkness come out of it. It made the two get pushed up against the wall with darkness bonds pushing their hands apart and away from their weapons.

“If you make one more move to fight right now, I WILL kill you,” I threatened.

Dante rolled his eyes. “That’ll be hard, guy.”

Sephiroth smirked. “Come and try.”

Dante looked at Sephiroth and nodded. “True that! You’re the one who wants to help you with some evil master plan!”
