Chapter 17

Third POV

Perry watched the Knight and Caius jump to another area of Valhalla. He still couldn’t believe he was there. There was a growl. The old lady, Lucinda, who was in the villains growled before she transformed into an onyx dragon. She roared as she stomped towards the heroes.

Kylie looked at Perry. “Perry!” she yelled. “Go for it! Don’t worry about me right now!”

He nodded. He transformed into a huge thunderbird and flew towards the old lady onyx dragon. The dragon attempted to fly away from the fight but he went straight for her. He flapped his wings to create a storm to hit her. She moved out of the way and the storm was heading straight for the buildings in the skyline.

He was about to freak out but there was a colourful barrier that stopped it. He let out a deep breath before He got kicked in the face. He lost his concentration in flying and quickly gained it again.

Perry was flabbergasted. ‘She. Did. Not. Just. Kick. Me. In. The. Face.’ He flew back towards her and flew as fast as he could. ‘Bloody cow. You’re not gonna see this coming.’

She was surprised in his sudden speed and attempted to fly away. She was slow. That was her biggest weakness from what he could see. He flew towards her even faster and managed to land on her back as he grabbed onto her throat to stop her from breathing. He knew using magic would give her an opportunity to dodge the magic and let it hit Valhalla.

Percy saw Perry in the air against the dragon. But he was against Loz. Loz was strong compared to the personality he had. Percy managed to push Loz back with Riptide and Loz attempted to scratch him with the gauntlet he had. Percy figured the only way to get Loz to become tired is by taunting him into using more and more strength. But the only disadvantage would’ve been that he would need to block every one of Loz’s attacks which wasn’t working out so well at the moment. He already had a scratch on his arm.

Percy smirked as he started his attacks on Loz. Loz just took all his frustration out on Percy since Yazoo had been taking his anger out on him. Percy continued to block every attack from Loz’s gauntlet and jumped back as he lured Loz towards the water.

“Come on, big guy!” Percy taunted. “You’ve got to do better than that!”

Loz growled before sniffling. “You sound like Big Brother!” he yelled as he jumped in the air and struck down at Percy. Percy had rolled out of the way before he could’ve done anything and Loz landed face flat on his face with his hand buried in the sand. “You’re weak yourself if you don’t face me properly!” he wailed.

Percy kicked Loz as hard as he could towards the water. He smirked. “Almost there.” He kicked Loz once again before he could get up into the water. “That’s it. Whoever you are, you’re under my territory now. You’re at the disadvantage now.”

Loz shook his head as his hair became flat from its spiked state. “How? I love water! Especially green glowing water!”

Yazoo, who was fighting against Archer, ran over and punched Percy in his back as he stood beside Loz. “Stupid! Don’t underestimate them!”

Loz started crying. “Don’t yell at me!”

Archer, who now stood beside Percy who was wincing at the pain in his back, raised his eyebrow at the two. “So, Milkshake Boy, you want to join forces with Cry Baby?”
