Chapter 7

Alexander’s POV

“WHAT?!” Archer exclaimed. “YOU’RE DEMONS?! WE’RE GONNA GET KILLED BY THEM!! ALEX, LET’S GET OUT OF HERE!!”

Hector stood up and walked over to stand beside us. He stood beside the screaming lunatic of a Dark Warlock and smacked him upside the head. Archer stopped speaking and rubbed the back of his head while he glared at Hector.

“Ow. What was that for?!” he exclaimed.

“Thank you,” the rest of us replied.

Hector grinned. “You’re welcome! Wanna go again, Archer?”

“HELL NO!” Hector whacked him on his head again. “Ow!”

I put my hand on my head. “Archer, shut up.” Archer pouted before looking away. “I’ll explain. I’ve been gathering allies for help. I’ve been wondering whether you two are the ones chosen for it.” I stood forward. “Will you fight Hector and Archer to see if you’re the ones?”

Nero looked at Vergil. “Well?”

“Sure.” He cracked his bones on right shoulder. “I’ll get some training done. Besides, that funny kid looks like he’s aching for a fight.”

Archer smirked. “You got that right!”

Nero handed Archer a sword. “Hope you don’t get a cut with something like that.”

He huffed. “As if, demon!!”

Nero and Vergil narrowed their eyes at him. “Devils,” Nero corrected. “Say that again in front of Vergil and he’ll kill you no matter who you are.”

Vergil clenched his fists and put his hand on his weapon. “Ready?” he asked. Archer and Hector nodded. “Let’s take it outside. There will be fewer demons around now.”

Nero’s arm glowed. “Hell yeah! This will be good!”

Hector and Archer looked at each other before walking outside with Nero and Vergil. Helen and I stepped out too to watch. This will be fun. I leaned on the wall beside the door of the shop while Helen sat on the steps.

Hector and Archer stood beside each other while Nero and Vergil did the same before taking their weapons out. Nero took out his motorcycle handle sword out and a katana that looked exactly like Vergil’s.

Vergil looked at it before facing Hector and Archer. “You better not fight with that in front of me.”

Nero rolled his eyes. “This is my weapon, Vergil. Just because it’s a version of Yamato doesn’t mean you have to tell me I can’t use it.”

“Do you really think you’ll need it?”

Nero stayed silent as he looked at Hector and Archer. “Not really.” He sighed and the katana was absorbed into his blue arm. “You made a good point. Happy?”

“Actually, yes I am.”

“Shut up.”

“What makes you think I will?”

“I’ll-”

“Are you two going carry on bickering like old ladies?” Archer mused.

The two faced Hector and Archer. Nero shook his head at Archer while he stabbed the ground with his sword. As Vergil stepped forward, he started to turn the motorcycle handle. I raised my eyebrow at him but Vergil put his hand on his katana.
