chapter 2

Laylas pov

"Wake up, school!" I heard my brother shout making me shoot out of bed and in the bathroom. It was 7:30 and the bus will leave at 8. Forgod sake why do I always get late.

I walked downstairs into the kitchen. I saw my brother shaking his head and saying "how lazy can you get". I turned to him and just put my middle finger up not in the mood for an argument.

"Layla! what have I told you about swearing" mom said. Oops didnt realise she was looking. I saw my brotjer smirking and then he put his finger up back at me

"Oh but you dont see him do it mom" when I said mom I realised all the events that happened last night.

"I dont want to be late, im going"

"You havent had your breakfast, Lay get your arse ba-"

"Got to go, bye" I cut her off just wanting to get to school and talk to Sonia about the letter and about my real parents.

I got to school and saw Sonia waiting by the gates.

"Hey, you text me last night about an address or something" she said.

"Yeah look" I said taking the piece of paper out my bag along with the letter.

"I also found this letter" I said as soon as the bell rang for class.

We was just about to open the letter when Mrs Jackson came.

"I shall take that" she said taking the letter before we even read it. What a bitch.

"You can get it from my office at the end of the day, now get to class and you both have a detention, be sure to be there, if not your parents will be informed" she said walking off

"Fucking bitch" Sonia muttered.

"This address you dont think its Cheryls is it?" Sonia asked.

"I dunno but theres one way to find out"

"What? Go there and check. Im up for it if you are"

"Are you sure? We have to go to London and I dont think my mom will let me"

"She doesnt have to know, how about we go now?" Sonia said as we walked into the toilets.

"Come on, we'll be able to meet your parents"

"Okay but I need to get that letter from Jacksons office" I said agreeing to go. I hope we dont get caught. Sonia never does whereas I always get caught.

Authors pov

Sonia and Layla went to Mrs Jackson office, no one was in there and luckily it was unlocked.

"Theres the letter"sonia said.

Layla grabbed the letter and put it in her pocket.

"Hey Lay look at this" sonia said giggling at a photo of Mrs Jackson and Mr Anderson.

"Lol I swear they are together" Layla laughed as they head out of the office.

"Shit... go run that way" layla whispered to sonia as they hear footsteps coming.

Both girls ran to the gates and jumped over. Luckily no one saw them

They arrived in London and got a cab to the address.

The driver stopped at a mansion which both girls were staring at.

Layla handed the driver the money and began to walk to the gates.

She took out the piece of paper and looked at the pin and put it in. The gates opened and the girls made their way to the mansion.
