About a month later, Cheryl was now close to her due date, Tre didn't go to rehearsals as he was worried incase Cheryl needed him and Layla also stayed at home looking after her mum. Today the three were waiting for Cheryls mum, Joanne to come.
Layla woke up early in the morning, in the mood to make breakfast for her and her parents. She made her way downstairs, to the kitchen.
A while later Tre and Cheryl came downstairs smelling eggs sausages and bacon.
"Morning mummy and daddy!" Walking over to her mother and father giving them both a hug and kiss.
"Woow layla, you made all this" Cheryl asked and Layla nodded. They took a seat and began eating.
After eating Layla and Cheryl went into the living room while Tre cleaned up the kitchen counter and the dishes.
"Who you texting?" Cheryl asked
"Jacob, his coming over this afternoon, is that okay?" Layla asks
"Of course hun" just as Cheryl replied, the doorbell rang. Layla ran to the door and opened it, her grandmother pulling her into a hug as soon as the door opens.
"Hello pet" Joanne said giving Layla a squeeze and kiss on the cheek. Layla stepped aside letting Joanne in, taking her coat and putting it on the rack.
Joanne walked over to Cheryl and gave her a kiss and hug before sitting down and talking. Layla took her grandmothers bags upstairs to the spare bedroom, where Joanne would be sleeping for the next couple of days.
She made her way back downstairs where Tre was now in the living room too.
They all started talking together, Tre went to make some tea for the others and Layla was on her phone.
Joanne saw Cheryl look a bit puzzled.
"Pet, you okay?" Joanne asked in concern. Layla looked up immediately and worry washed over her face.
"I think i need to go to the hospital" Cheryl quickly said and Layla ran to her father telling him who quickly stopped what he was doing and told Joanne to take Cheryl to the car while he got the bags.
"Kimberley will be here in a few minutes, okay princess, dont open the door for anyone unless its her and will you..." Tre began
"I'll be okay dad, go, love you tell mam I said bye" Layla interrupts and Tre gives her a kiss and closes the door.
