Scout and I were sprinting side by side all the way over the hill, Spy following quickly behind us. A sense of Deja Vu washed over me as the base vanished from my sight. I saw the lines roughly covered in dirt, and I remembered staring out my window so many months ago, imagining myself running beside Scout on a mission. That dream was now unfolding before me. I held my pistol tightly as I followed Scout. He quickly pointed right as we split directions, both of us stopping behind large rocks. I looked over to see Scout sitting with his back to the rock, gun still held tightly in his hands.

Spy stopped next to me, looking over the big boulder to check for cover, but quickly shrinking back out of sight, shaking his head at Scout. There must've been armed people outside. He looked at me, taking out a case and opening it in front of him, saying in a very quiet voice.

"Stay here...watch Scout for a signal...till then, Don't. Move. A muscle..." With that, a fuzzy haze surrounded his figure for a second. When I could make out his shape again, it was different. His red suit was replaced with a light blue jacket, a huge missile launcher appearing on his shoulder, and a helmet quickly hiding his eyes. He gave me a smile as he suddenly vanished from my sight. I smiled, sitting behind the rock and keeping a careful eye on Scout.

Scout was looking at me, giving me a trusting smile as he peeked over the side of the rock. We both waited for what seemed like a long time before the sound of struggled breathing reached our ears. Scout gave me a thumbs up as we continued to move forward, this time sneaking around the side of their base. I followed close behind him. I'd never been this close before, and my heart was starting to pound in my throat. Our footsteps were swift but quiet, so reaching the back was no problem. Once we got there, Scout quickly stopped me, looking over the corner of the building to see a BLU sniper standing by the back door, but he was facing the other direction.

Scout smirked, signaling me to stay as I watched him sneak up, taking out his bat. I held my breath as Scout brought it back to take a wild swing. The Sniper then turned his head, gasping and quickly aiming his SMG straight at his heart before the bat came across his head with a huge "Crack!" I jumped at the sound, the Sniper hitting the dirt a second later. Scout thought quickly, mumbling something very quietly and dragging his body behind a pile of boxes. He quickly waved me in the door, not looking very happy. I followed. We had to hurry, for we had no idea how much attention we had drawn.

All we needed to do was find the Heavy and get the hell out.

It wasn't easy finding his room, but once we found Spy he was already at his door, pounding at it and saying very loudly in Soldier's voice.

"Get up you big Russian lump!" He yelled. "Sniper and Demo are down! We're being attacked."

That's when I realized something wasn't right. Spy wasn't supposed to rat us out like that. He was supposed to keep quiet  so we could get him while he was sleeping. Scout looked shocked, meaning only one thing. That Soldier in front of us was the real BLU soldier. We both vanished back around the corner as we heard Soldier march away, the Heavy stumbling around his room. I quickly turned to Scout.

"What are we going to do?" I asked, panting as my heart raced faster. He thought for a moment, then shook his head.

"We have to prey that Spy can still back stab em'...we're greatly outnumbered here..."

Suddenly...and idea came to mind. I quickly moved him away as Heavy came out of his room, charging down the hall away from us.

"W...What are you doin"? he asked. I lifted my pistol and took aim, lining his head in my sights.

"Wha- Scout NO!" He went to take my gun, but a second too late.

I fired, and in what seemed like slow motion I watched as the bullet tore through Heavy's skull, watching him drop like a rock to the floor.

Alarms blared loudly in my ears. Scout quickly grabbed my wrist and ran with me.

"What were ya thinkin'?!" He yelled over his shoulder as we started to sprint towards the back doors. I was still in shock about what I'd just done. That wasn't me that had made that decision. As I thought this, my chest started to sting as I was losing my breath. As Scout turned to look at me he suddenly cried out, falling and dropping his gun. I yelled and tripped over him. I hit the ground on my stomach landing right in front of a pair of shoes. I trembled as I looked up. The BLU sniper was standing above me, snarling down at me and holding his gun. His glasses were gone and he had a huge bump on the side of his face from the first strike. I looked back at Scout as he clutched his knee, panting.

The Sniper kicked me back over away from Scout as a pair of strong arms grabbed me from behind. I cried out as I was gagged, silencing me almost instantly. My chest stung and my mouth had already begun to swell from the kick as I laid my eyes on Scout. The Sniper had growled something, stepping hard on his knee. Scout shouted in pain, and I pulled against the man behind me, screaming for him to stop. He growled up at me as the man took my gun, throwing it away. That's when I turned just in time to see the Sniper...

He...he blew Scout's brains out right in front of me...
