"So you're sure everything is good?" Dean asks again over the phone.

I roll my eyes slightly annoyed.

"Yup, Cas and I are just sitting here smokin some weed. No big deal." I joke trying to annoy him.

He chuckles.

"Yeah well save some for me when I get home."

"Will do, how's the hunt coming?"

"Fine." He says catching onto my game.

"Fine? Just fine? No details?"

"Yeah just fine. Nice try. I'm not telling you anymore."

"Boo," I grumble. I thought maybe if he gave me just a little info without even knowing I could research and track where they were. It was a long shot but it was worth a try.

"Besides we'll be home soon."

"Well hurry up. Cas is getting annoying."

Click

"Am I really annoying you?" Castiel speaks suddenly behind me. I jump, startled.

"Yes, yes that annoys me! You can't sneak up on people like that Cas!"

"Technically I wasn't sneaking-" He begins but shuts up when he gets a glimpse of my face expression. "Right. Sorry."

"Dean said they'd be home soon. And that's all he said." I pout.

Castiel tilts his head to the side looking at me curiously.

"You, want to hunt?"

I shrug.

"Yeah."

"Why?"

"I don't know, why do Sam and Dean do it?"

"It's what they were raised into."

"Seriously? Their whole life?"

He nods.

Wow, I couldn't imagine only knowing this lifestyle. I mean as much as I did get a thrill from hunting I could imagine it would be a lot different if I was brought up into it.

"May I ask you a question?" Cas asks suddenly breaking my thought.

"Depends?"

"How well do you remember your mother?"

My jaw clenches on instinct.

"What are you doing?" I asks between grit teeth.

"Asking you a question?"

"I don't want to talk about her Castiel."

"She hurt you?"

"Stop it."

"How old were you?" He asks pushing my limits. Even though he was acting clueless about it I had a feeling he knew what he was doing.

"Cas, I'm warning you. Stop it."

"I'm just wondering about you. I can't seem to figure you out."

"There's nothing to figure out! I'm nobody!" I bark.

"I have a feeling it wasn't your father who made you so angry towards the world. It was her wasn't it? Your mother?"

"I said stop it!" I shout a bit too loudly.

Not more then a few milliseconds later the ground rumbles slightly.

"What the hell was that?" I look to Castiel who was focused on me. "Was that an earthquake?"
