I wrap the jacket tighter around me angrily as I walk away. I needed to cool down. Bad things happened when I let my emotions get the best of me. I didn't need that, especially with the firefighters being my audience. Besides, I feared if Alyssa saw anymore paranormal crap she might go crazy. Although she seem to be holding up pretty well. Better then I thought.

"Hey, how ya holding up?" I ask, sitting next to her on the back of the ambulance.

She shrugs.

"I just found out monsters are real. And one tried to kill me- tried to kill you. And you...what are you?"

"Wish I knew."

"You don't know?"

I shrug again, looking over at my mother, who was looking at me already. I quickly look away, gritting my teeth.

"Well whatever it is, I hope you figure it out." She says in all seriousness. "Not to freak you out but it's scary. Your...power I guess. But I think you already know that."

I nod, taking a deep breath.

"Yeah, well, my friends seem to be pretty certain they can help, so..."

"Those friends," She points to Sam and Dean. "My rescue team?"

I chuckle.

"Uh, yeah."

She looks at them for minute and raises her eyebrows.

"That one is kinda hot." She jesters to Dean, then looks to me, smirking. Implying something.

"Ew god no, he's like my dad or something." I cringe. I mean don't get me wrong, Dean was definitely attractive, Sam to, but I didn't view them in that way.

"Too bad, he's got that whole rugged look to him, ya know? The I've got a lot of issues type." She smirks.

I roll my eyes and chuckle.

"That's your type?"

She shrugs. I chuckle again, shaking my head.

"Grey," I hear Dean call, walking up to us. "We should probably get going."

I nod, looking to Alyssa.

"You gonna be okay?"

She rolls her eyes.

"Bradlii, stop asking me that. You worry about yourself, okay?"

I take a deep breath, getting up to join Dean.

"Thank you by the way," she calls. "Thanks for saving me."

I smile and nod. That was a nice feeling to have. To know she was gonna go home to her family and live out her life. It was a nice feeling.

"What is she doing?" I ask, hopping in the backseat to be met with my mom.

"We gave her a ride Bradlii," Sam sighs.

I stare at her for a long moment before reaching for the door.

"I'll walk."

"Grey, stop." Dean chides gently. "You're not walking anywhere."

"I'm not riding in the car with her Dean!" I say as calmly as I can. But it comes off as hostile.

"My motel isn't too far from here-"

"It's fine, you can stay. I'll find a ride." I cut her off, not looking at her.

"Grey you're not leaving this damn car. And you're sure as hell not gonna try to hitch in this kind of neighborhood."
