Some good-byes are happy-sad
Just like the cherry blossom, trees pink clad
You help them with the bags, you help them pack
because you know, soon, they'll be back.
Some good-byes are sad and sweet
like a wilting flower, it was time to leave
The next time you meet, you believe
Time's miracle is God's treat!
Some good-byes are heartwrenching-
like two lovers forced to land and sea.
They don't know when they'll be
back; back with their anchor ring.
Alas! We all have to someday bid good-bye,
take our last breath and look at the sky.....
Pray we have love, pray we have peace,
the King, no longer our last chess piece.
