The Midway Story

I think, I think but I never say
For easy shortcuts, I look at the ray
But none helpful enough to show me the way
It's just the starting of the day!

On the farm, I hear a horse's neigh
I imagine meeting the fabled fey
Finding a cozy place for me to lay
On the acres of grass and hay!

I wish, for dreaming I had a pay
Then I could buy tons and live and stay
Where there would be no one to complain and say
Right beside my favourite lounging bay!

But they say I'm still young and naive
Now a days, who cares anyway?
This is a word of a domestic not stray
Who left the story, agonizingly, midway...
