The chains that once had bound me,
Now no longer there
Remembering the days I once worked like a busy bee
How long could I do all these?

The chains that once had bound me
Now no longer there
Ties broken; I feel so free
I didn't know this was the real key

The chains that once had bound me
Now no longer there
Responsibility gone for me to see
The amount I paid for the gruesome fee

The chains that once had bound me
Now no longer there
Earning for myself as I foresee
The bright future that God kept for me;

Still can't get used to the light feeling
I once cherishing foresaw
The wounds of the hard work still open: healing
Away the charms of nothingness I'm peeling!
