They will see it all,
One day,
Beneath a roof,
Intimidating,
But I won't be there
Physically
Only the last remnants
Of my soul. They will see it all,
One day,
Barren, broken, disturbed
The last brink.
Friends and foes
They better be summoned,
One last wish of mine
At last, granted. They will see it all,
One day,
Cuts and scars, is it all?
Unfathomable.
But I can feel it all,
Already,
I haven't even taken it yet,
The darkness. They will see it all,
One day,
Though I won't rejoice
Where ever I would be
Solemn, silent, listless even,
Burnt, so the ashes will be.
No cry, I wish for,
None, not for me.They will see it all,
One day,
Scrutinizing gazes
Reading it in
Observing why I did,
What I would do.
The joke's on them;
I left no trace. They will see it all,
One day,
But only the tracks,
I left,
The ones, there, purposely,
I knew it long ago -
Sharp eyed, they called me,
Sharp minded, I replied. They will see it all,
One day,
Tunnels long, everlasting,
Unending.
Another hope I have,
The irony.
A writer amongst them,
I wish. They will see it all,
One day,
And so will the world,
If it hasn't, already.
Blunders; endless -
Heartbreaks, zero;
My last wish,
Only, if it comes true.~ Priya K.
