A girl walking by the straight road
All alone, though joyous and secure.
Completely blind by the almighty node,
Which might not change impure to pure.All along the straight road, dimly lit;
Just a lamp post beside to guide her.
The 'beware' signs hidden in jealousy and mirth
The obstacles, spurring in her impatience and anger.Now the road's all gravel, stones and grass
With the difficulties profound like a boulder.
Couldn't care less about her gold, diamond and brass
Because she's growing lonelier and older.The difficulties at their best, musings and profanities;
Her goal so close but still tempted to end it.
Tired with the tornadoes, hurricanes and other calamities,
But the candle still stands tall and very much lit.The heartbreaks and betrayals drive her to the brink of insanity,
The road too onerous for her to fathom.
She jumps off an imaginary cliff, losing eternity.
The once tall candle now remains standing extinguished...
