(A/n): Alright... I think I got the gist of this segment. I'm tired of proof reading it, so hopefully there are no grammar mistakes :') If I need to edit little stuff more I will later, but here ya' go-
(Your POV)
The outside landscape went by faster than I could see, but I was focused on Uncle's eyes in the rearview mirror as he rushed us down the street, zipping through the puddles so quick that the splashes could barely be heard.
Kadron was next me. Resting my head on the window, I looked down and noticed that mark on his left hand which was in a fist on his lap. It made me curious to know, and I playfully stared at him until I got his attention. He side-eyed me but softened his brows with a frown, and I gestured down at his hand.
"Tell me about that letter on your wrist," I said.
Kadron's lip curled nefariously hearing that.
(Third Person's POV)
Tintin flagged down a cab, waving his hand like a frenzic metronome device and yelling out. When the vehicle haulted, Tintin leaned into the window.
"Where to?" the nasally-pitched, slim-faced cabbie man questioned.
"The old Cornelius Mansion! And quickly! We have permission by the royal court!" Tintin opened the door and thrusted he and Snowy in it.
"What are you? Some snooty lensmates? I've heard this before and d'you realize how many a' man have asked me with the same ol' story??" cabbie snarked under his thick accent. "I gander you haven't gotten any proof, you lot? Ey?"
"Here's your proof, you HAM-LEGGED THEIC!" rumbled Haddock, pulling out a thick wallet and slapping it into the man's hand.
The cabbie opened the fold to see the innumerable riches (well... the very last of what he and Tintin had combined) he was just given, lifting up a coin. His smile shinned in sync with the twinkle of the gold, and his demeaner turned to be less mocking. His life would be set for good.
"Why, then!" He chuckled with glee as Haddock seated in the back with Tintin. "Up to them Secret Nobility Society Hills or otha'! Hold your bums! The two of you, anyways! And don't mind if that holy terrier soils my good 'leather' seats! Won't be using this lug of rubbish after what you've lended me! Heh-heh!" And his foot mashed down on the gas, screeching and smoking the wheels on the wet cement until the cab was in quick pursuit.
The Captain held down onto his cap; his other hand secured onto the window ledge. He took a look over at Tintin, who recieved the Captain's glance. The journalist had a stern face, but he didn't hide the immense worry behind his blue eyes. The Captain nodded at him with a soft grunt. This was a different sort of bravery that would take more strength to keep. They were afraid; both were, of losing a good friend.
In rapid time, Isaac and Kadron arrived at the old mansion with the old iron gate. The chain was still unbound from their last visit before apprehension by the police, so they jogged through. Actually, come to think of it, seems it was unlocked all together. Perhapsnit was by the allowance of the Regals, as they had permitted (Y/n) to continue her search there and wherever she needed. Entering the yard, the girl glanced back and almost stumbled at the two gaurds on either side of the gate. Gee, they sure were quiet. They must've also recognized her and the others and moved out the way before she even first saw them. That certainly is new, (Y/n) thought in her head, then she chased after Kadron and her uncle who were inside the home already.
They made it into the dark hall as before, and to the left side of the home with the upper library they went. Isaac allowed (Y/n) to go first up the ladder, and he next while Kadron stabilized the wood legs below. The pilot eyed back at the front door which they had chose not to shut, and then followed on up the ladder as Isaac reached the top.
