Sorry it took me a while to update. I was having a hard time writing, and I was also trying to finish my other book before New Year. So with that said, the next update will only be in 2026, and I'll try to update more frequently after that... we still have a long way to go with this one.
I originally planned to post this on Monday, but I got sick... and then really sick and I'm still sick...so it ended up getting delayed . Thank you so much for the patience:)

Namjoon opened the jewelry box in his hand slowly. Inside was a bracelet...Simple, adorned with diamonds yet solid and clean in design. It wasn't too delicate in built . When he first started looking for omegan jewelry, nothing had felt right . Everything was too ornate, too soft or too decorative. None of it felt like Jungkook in his eyes
He knew Jungkook preferred clean and simple things..and probably things he could feel against his skin. He had noticed how Jungkook preferred wearing baggy fits, dark colors and carried himself with a certain aesthetic that didn't quite scream omega. The only stereotypically omegan thing he wore was the gold magnolia pendant from his appa...the one Namjoon had given him as a courtship gift.
And the only time Namjoon had ever seen the omega wear soft, delicate clothes was back when Jungkook still lived with his parents. From everything he'd seen since, he knew was not probably by choice. Now that Jungkook was here, away from all that, he had slowly started developing his own taste. Accepting his unique personality and leaning into what actually felt like him, instead of what he was told he should. And Namjoon was strangely happy to see him blossom into his own person, even though it went against all of his expectations.
And even after all the fights...after everything that had gone wrong between them...Jungkook still wore the pendant.Namjoon didn't know what that meant exactly. But he knew it meant something!
He had spent hours going from shop to shop, picking things up, putting them back, feeling wrong about every single piece. Until this one. The moment he saw it, something in him told it was meant for Jungkook.
Eunji leaned over his shoulder and smiled as she helped fold the last of his clothes into the suitcase "It's totally his style" she said confidently "He'll love it"
Namjoon's fingers lingered on the bracelet for a moment before he closed the box"I really hope so..."
"He will" she said without hesitation, like it was obvious. She zipped the bag shut and rested her hand on it "It's the first time you're giving him something like this. And honestly?" Her lips curved "I think he'll like the other surprises even more. He looks like someone who'll enjoy the vacation.."
Namjoon exhaled softly "He probably will. The problem is... it's with me" He hesitated, then admitted quietly, "You know he hasn't been very cooperative these last two weeks. He barely wants to talk. Or see me. Don't know if me being there would be something he will like. Maybe I should send him with Jin ...he certainly likes him better!"
