Sorry
Is a word
That can be said in many different ways
Different languages
Tones
Sorry
Is proof of remorse
That you feel bad
For whatever you did
Or if you just want to make up
And not be mad
Anger is overwhelming
So sorry
Is our relief
It takes off all of the pressure
All of our lives we've been made
To say sorry
Or we do it on our own
It's when we're vulnerable
And uncomfortable
We want forgiveness
And we have a way
Of accessing that
Two words
I'm sorry
That is all
Anyone needs
To open the door to forgiveness
But guess what
Sometimes
Sorry doesn't work
And we are left
With being worried and remorseful
