To friends
To family
Even to pets
It's a burning passion all of us have
Some more than others
It hurts when people break it
Because it was a trust
A bond
Loyalty is in human nature
Some are bred to be loyal
Some lost it because of cruelty
Loyalty
It makes you feel proud
To be who you are
When we stand up for friends
Fight for our family
Defend our religion
The things that matter
There is also loyalty
To our word
Our promises
It matters
Our soldiers loyalty to our country
To defend
What we hold dear
They fight
They get hurt
But they get back out there
Because of loyalty
Even sports players
Football players to their team
A band to their fellow classmates
A sister to her brother
An engineer to his work
Many forms of loyalty
Many ways
But we all have it
