Ashes
Are the symbol
Of damage
That the damage is done
No going back
It destroys
The fire is gone
But the pain is still there
The ashes fall
Sign of damage and pain
Ashes don't hurt
But it's symbol does
It burns
It stings
The fire licks at our wounds
And the ashes make a blanket over them
To show our scars
No one can fix us
The damage is done
It is all gone
Ashes
