It's something human
For humans
Something immediately set on us as we're born
Something we grow to know
Doing the dishes
Feeding the pet(s)
Cleaning your room
And eventually
Keeping up with homework
Taking care of a sibling
Babysitting
Work
Extracurriculars
And then
College
More school work
Actual work
Then paying for an apartment
And all that comes with it
Responsibility
It's a human thing
Some people welcome it more than others
Some take it for granted
And some take advantage of it
Responsibility can also mean power
And power means trust
Trust can be broken
If not handled correctly
Or put in the wrong hands
People have responsibility
But with great responsibility comes great power
We must trust our peers with what they are trusted with
Trust
Power
Responsibility
